Nice sized car park provides a great welcome, but excellent customer service team even better, as despite being early room allocated and quickly settled, clear notices over room servicing ( or not) displayed.Great nights sleep and ready supply of room items available.
Most recent visit to this Premier Inn which my wife and I use fairly often to visit family in the area. Very convenient and comfortable place and we have always found the staff exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms are a good size and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast and other meals available in the adjoining Beefeater where, again, we have found the staff welcoming and helpful. Worth noting this Premier Inn is only about 15 minutes walk from the train station which has a good, regular service to King's Cross so a trip into London is very easy.
I stayed at the PREMIER INN Welwyn Garden City from the 15th to 17th March. The occasion was to visit a friend. I like this hotel, as it is simple, but comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the shower works well too. There are plenty of plugs in the room, so no problem if you need to charge up laptops and phones at the same time. We had dinner there twice, and the menu is good and reasonable priced. The portions are on the bigger side.
The hotel was lovely, clean, the staff are lovely and helpful. The room were lovely the temperature was just right. Breakfast was lovely I couldn’t fault it in any way I would definitely stay again And have a evening meal
The premier inn was lovely and clean the staff were friendly the bed was comfortable but unfortunately the whole weeks stay was ruined by an extremely loud snoring person above the person next door to me also had ruined nights sleep due to the snoring, this is not the hotels fault but maybe more sound proofing would be better
Although I reviewed the WGC Premier Inn some years ago; it is important to report the continuing high standard of all staff. The parking lot can become packed; 'though there is usually space in the far corner. Visitors needing a shower-room; but not fully-accessible fixtures can sometimes be accommodated. Housekeeping are very friendly and efficient; one only has to ask - preferably the evening before. I always phone hotels in advance (to make any special requests); at WGC it's often John who takes my call. He and all the Front Desk staff pay great attention to detail.
Rooms are ok. basic but acceptable if just a bed for the night. Rooms are always cold, even when adjusting the heating. Beefeater is disappointing. Staff great but not enough of them and never a full menu available
We have stayed here twice before and had a pleasant stay again this time. I called before booking as I always do to request a quiet top floor room, facing the sports field as I know these are quietest. However it seemed they couldn't quite accommodate our request fully this time as we were on the middle floor but still facing the sports field, although our view was obstructed as we were on a corner we could actually see very little of the field which was disappointing as previously we have enjoyed watching the cyclists on a Saturday! Despite it being on the corner of a corridor with a lot of footfall I was still pleased with the room as I am a very light sleeper and a few footsteps outside and above really didn't spoilt my sleep and it was a very nice spacious room. Besides which the bed was nice and firm must have been new which i appreciate because my back isn't the greatest! We ate in the restaurant next door which is a Beefeater not owned by Premier Inn but you can still get a meal deal. Breakfast was very nice however my partner wasn't pleased with her main meal, but I was with mine, and we both liked the breakfast and dessert and service so 8/10 for the restaurant too. Overall a very pleasant stay and yes we would stay again.…
Lovely location for a catch up with a friend. Food was lovely and staff in the restaurant were so friendly. Cy at reception was so welcoming and very kind on my stay. He was very friendly and looked after me well. Thank you! I will be back😀
Lots of things. On Saturday evening the gents toilets was a disgrace, paper strewn about the place and their was long standing dirt around the door and frame. I told one of the staff about it. It doesn't help when anyone can use the entry door which is nearby and I witnessed men coming in at breakfast on Monday morning to just use the toilets. We had one bath towel and one small towel between myself and my wife. The meal was alright on Saturday evening but the cooked breakfast wasn't on Sunday morning. The manager in charge was unshaven and casually dressed in jeans and a hoodie on both Saturday and Sunday. I was emailed several receipts from our stay, none of which made a lot of sense. I await my bank statement to make sense of it all.
