I don't even know where to start! If you place any value at all on sleep, service and general hygiene then simply avoid this place like the plague! I have just returned from here this afternoon and I'm incandescent with our parties complete mistreatment. I had issues with the following: -My check in was delayed by ages. Rooms were not...

I had the unfortunate experience of visiting this hotel for a business conference including an overnight stay at the end of April. This is hands down the WORST hotel I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. I cannot really convey how bad our experience was but will start with the worst point: Two of my colleagues had their...

Dirty run down hotel. Don't do it . Had to change rooms twice due to hygiene issues. Food expensive and small portions. . Shabby... This room still bad. But to tired to complain any more. Mattress like a bed of springs. Toilet constantly running.. I stop away 5 nights a week. And this is the worst by far for a...

I was booked into the hotel by my office along with some colleagues as we had a work meeting in the area the next day. From the outside it looks rather nice. However, when we arrived 6 of our group were told they didn't have rooms despite an email from the hotel confirming the booking. Two of our party had...

When we arrived on the 30/4/2016 . There was no cot in our room.extremely small room.the gentleman on reception was more interested...

Friendly owners, historic building, nice restaurant with friendly staff - the food was excellent. The suilding is hundreds of years old and a major part of Berkshire history. The gardens are nicely maintained and there are summer events there which are nice during these months

Looks great and it should be but owners have no idea. Very polite Indian gentleman but someone needs to teach them how to smile! When they take your money they look like they're gonna top themselves! Get the distinct impression they are losing money, that was the impression anyway. Room minuscule and looked out at a brick wall 3 foot...

I would STRONGLY recommend NEVER booking anything with Baylis House especially if you are considering a wedding or reception here. We had our Indian Wedding and Reception at Baylis House on 8th August 2016. From our initial meeting with one of the sales reps – Mya Kasim, all the way through to the event on the day we were consistently...
