Room was clean and fresh. Quiet location. Friendly welcome from the couple who run the place. Lovely breakfast in the morning. All you would want from a seaside B&B. Reasonable cost. Off-road parking. Also somewhere to stow your cycles if required. Nice en-suite. I experienced nothing to detract from this review in any way. I only stayed the one night.

We had a brilliant stay at Canterbury House. Marc and Jan were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room we stayed in was very comfortable with everything you needed. The breakfast was scrummy especially the fruit compote. Canterbury House has a very friendly feel and we will be going back. Kate and Trevor Russell Kent

This could quite possibly be the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Absolutely charming hosts, spotless, beautifully decorated, nice communal areas and a stunning breakfast! The breakfast consisted of a cooked to order full english (as well as kippers and vegetarian options) and a lovely help-your-self area with probably the best yoghurt-granola pot I have eaten! Nice touch having...

We stayed for a week and cannot praise this B & B enough. Marc and Jan are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Beautifully clean. Showers powerful and easy to use. Modern rooms with very comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. Superb breakfasts. Have booked for next year, can't wait.

An excellent guest house, with lovely food, friendly and professional host and hostess and comfortable rooms that are spotlessly clean, this was my third visit and have booked again for next year. The property is in a good location, within walking distance of town centre but quiet and in a nice area with parkland next door.

The B&B is situated about 10 minutes walk from the sea front just off the high street. It has a well kept appearance from the outside and we were greeted by the owner when we arrive. He showed us to our room which was clean and modern with enough room to store our rucksacks and spread out. The owner then...
