Arrived just after 0.900 hrs, to a warm welcome with a cup of tea and taken care of by two delightful girls Mable and Lucy. Alan and Lin ensured that we were ok before they set off to a prior arrangement. Our room was available spotlessly clean well presented. attended to every day. We had an evening meal on our...

I thoroughly enjoyed my whole stay at the Groveside. My bedroom was, as I believe they all are, themed and with an attention to detail and co-ordination that was amazing: even the hairdryer was the right colour of green! The bed was extremely comfortable, the room well laid out and having everything I needed, as did the bathroom. The sitting...

This is a bit of a mixed review. Due to many of the reviews I expected that this place would be oustanding.I can't help but feel that any other B& B in this area would have been quite similar or better. To it's credit the B& B was clean and comfortable, but that's really the minimum you would expect at...

Everything was organic and freshly made. My girlfriend is a vegetarian and the veg breakfast was amazing, with a great selection all round. The room was spotless staff extremely friendly couldn't do enough for you, left you treats in the room. Felt very relaxed and welcome.

We have just had a great night at the Groveside Guest House in Sidmouth. The hosts were very hospitable and welcoming and our rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean Breakfast was the of excellent quality with a huge choice of all courses, and was very well served indeed. We would recommend this accommodation to others.

This is an excellent guest house with welcoming hosts, great service and possibly even a greater breakfast. Lots of thoughtful touches such as fresh milk in a fridge on the stair landing. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent facilities, food and flexibility make the Groveside the perfect choice to stay in Sidmouth. With the beach a 10 minute walk away you couldn’t go wrong. We stayed 2 nights, the 'Jazz' room was great and the breakfast was wonderful. Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Sidmouth.

This is a very welcoming B&B with good service. Rooms are clean and comfortable, hosts are welcoming, and the breakfasts are possibly the best I've had in a B&B. Real attention to detail in everything eg cafetiere coffee and fresh fruit for breakfast, fresh milk available to take to your rooms for hot drinks. Would definitely return.
