Visited with Roberts coaches, Leicestershire for 4 days Twixmas, and everything was superb, room, staff and the food. Everyone was very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you all so much. Ben Lee

We visited for 3 nights with some friends using Chandlers Coach Holidays. A super quality hotel! Perfect location. Staff excellent and so helpful. Food, perfect and plenty. No complaint with the rooms. Very tasteful decor and lounges. Well thought out entertainment. A credit to the owner (s). Only wished we had time to finish that puzzle in the quite lounge!...

Six of us spent three nights over the New Year and we had a really good time. Nice hotel, very friendly and courteous staff and very good food. We all had sea facing rooms and they were clean and comfortable. There is a small car park at the rear of the hotel and the only disadvantage to this is that...

We really cannot understand a couple of the whingeing comments made just lately. The management and staff of this excellent establishment ALWAYS go the extra mile to ensure everything is perfect. If there is a problem, speak to reception or ask to see Sara or Paul, it will be attended to right away! Having said all that, we have been...

We have stayed at the Royal York & Faulkner for many years, both between Xmas and New Year, and in between, sometimes for a short break in the Summer, and we always have had excellent service from all the staff, and any problems we might have are sorted straight away. The food is always good, with a varied menu ....

We have been back to this hotel for more years than we can remember but thankfully it remains unchanged. A comfortable warm room overlooking the sea - food to die for and staff that too seem unchanging and so helpful. What more could anyone possibly want? Thank you everyone.

What a great experience I cannot speak too highly of the proprietors and their staff for making our Xmas such an enjoyable and memorable event . All were catered for --Quet lounges , games rooms and an excellent bar The food could not have been bettered and the waiters were all very professional and friendly. We will certainly return

We booked this hotel as my parents in law had booked it on a return visit. We were offered free wine and chocolates as a thank you on friends and family as they had stopped here before (we forgot the voucher so we were not entitled, thus the 2 point drop. This is not what you expect in 2016) the...

It is an old building, with basic but comfortable rooms. It's greatest asset is its staff, who are without exception friendly, helpful and anxious to please - and entertaining The food is excellent, with plenty of it Only slight criticism is that some rooms are very hot and others, at times, barely warm enough

bar lounge with LIVE music, no bingo, hurrah,tv and games room, lovely reading lounge and another lounge to gaze at the sea. added to all this is a beautiful restuarant with delicious food. as my hands shake badly I give breakfast a miss but not here, my orange juice arrives at the table in lovely stemmed glass, a joy for...
