Well the good points were lovely clean bedding and towels. The bad points the bed was very uncomfortable the windows were very drafty the heating was hit and miss the shower was dirty cobwebs all over the place don't think the rooms have had a deep clean in years. To top it off the room had two sockets and they...

Very pleasantly surprised on our second visit here as the room was large, well decorated and warm, we stayed 2 nights at the end of January and found it great value for money. Parking was by Permit and was only £1.50 for 2 days from reception, breakfast was very good value at £2.95 for continental, the only bad point we...

After finding a good deal on booking.com, I rang up to double check about additional fees for a dog. It was only a fiver for the whole stay unlike all others at £10 a night. Don't expect the hotel to be perfect in the way of decor. I spent many a moment thinking how easy it would be to fix...

We stayed here in Nov and the weather was quite chilly but our room was warm . We had to book a budget room but it had everything you could need and the bed was comfy and the bedding nice and fresh. The furniture was a little tired looking and the room could do with updating but everything worked ,...

I stayed here for 4 nights. My room was spacious, clean and welcoming. Very good value for money, with the ensuite- and the big fluffy towels were lovely too! I didn't have breakfast but it was good to know that I could just turn up at breakfast time and order one! Everyone was very friendly and polite.

Not the highest quality hotel I've stayed in but value at the price. Stayed there whilst in town for a reunion which we held in the bar on Saturday afternoon. The staff were friendly and coped well with over 30 of us in the bar on the Saturday afternoon whilst running reception and setting up for an engagement party. Had...

We've stayed before and will stay again, this being our preferred hotel in Scarborough. Handily located on South Cliff but close to the town and all local attractions. Literally minutes from the town centre across either the Valley or Spa bridges (use the latter, it's far and away the more elegant and offers better views). Anyway, back to the hotel;...

What can I say, I booked this for myself, wife and my friends and was so embarrassed when I saw the state of the rooms, I know it's cheap, so I didn't expect a palace. But there is no need for the rooms to be dirty, the shower had mould around the tray and door the shower head needed to...
