We used to go for occasional visit to the Wrea Head when it was a hotel run by English Rose hotels but it had became rather dated and in need of refurbishment so we have not been for several years. We returned this last weekend for a three night stay after receiving very good feedback from family who had visited...

Anne and her team were fantastic. This is quite an intimate experience with the hotel being small and the service they have got spot on. Stayed in Room 21 which was stunning. Ate in the restaurant in the evening, choice of two menu's with some delightful food on offer. The food was one of the best meals I have ever...

If you treat yourself from time to time, then please visit the Wrea head hall hotel. From checking in, and shown to your room, to the quality of service and food. If you like comfort, cleanliness, wonderful manners, and 'nice' pint and Michelin standard food - then I can highly recommend this hotel. I wish I had wrote down everyone's...

You approach this hotel up a long driveway when the imposing old Manor House comes into view. It is surrounded by lovely grounds & views. It has over the last few years undergone major renovations which are very tasteful. The food on offer is very good and the staff really friendly & helpful. Have stayed twice & will definitely return...

My partner and I stayed for two nights at the Wrea Head Hall Hotel and had an amazing stay. I have stayed here before but it was my partner’s first visit and we had taken advantage of the hotel’s special offer of Dinner, Bed and Breakfast plus Cream Tea for less that £160.00 per couple per night. This was cheaper...

We were celebrating a family birthday and an 'afternoon tea' at Wrea Head Hall fitted the bill perfectly. From our arrival we were treated with friendly and efficient service. We enjoyed well filled sandwiches, scones with jam and clotted cream, a delightful boozy desert and a good selection of pretty cakes. The fudge was my particular favourite.

We have always wanted to stay at this hotel for quite a number of years, but have never made it for one reason or another. However, we finally did on the 6th March 2017 and we're not disappointed. We arrived at lunchtime and were greeted by a very nice receptionist who was most welcoming so that was a great start....

2nd time staying, cream tea, three course meal, bed and breakfast deal. Very, very nice. Met by receptionist, whocarried bags to room. Beautiful decor and super bathroom. Good selection of drinks with full size kettle with tea cups and teapot. Walked around the grounds. Really pretty woodland walk. Cream tea in the bar, our choice of venue as the sun...

We have only been here less than 9hrs and the standard of service during the day and during evening dinner was amazing, nothing was to much trouble for any member of staff. We have felt most at home so much so we have asked to extend our stay.

Stayed two nights and was very happy with everything. Ate in the restaurant the first night and the food was first class in every way. Didn't eat second night as we went to whitby for the day and had lunch. The staff was very helpful and pleasant, especially the Bar man and the Restaurant manager....great location, close to Scarborough and...
