Stayed a few times over the last 3 months and it has been excellent every time. Rooms are well decorated with plenty of tea and coffee. Breakfast is great. Well positioned and easy to park. Will definitely stay again

The Meltham is one of the best B&B's we have been to. Very clean and tidy. The breakfast is beautiful and to top it all Alison and Mark are the nicest of people. Always welcoming and have for their guests. Will always stay here when in Scarborough, if they are fully, that is. As they are so popular.

I would highly recommend this BB, very good value, clean rooms, hospitable couple that run this, very welcoming. Only downside shower room was a tad small however my partner is 6ft 5 inches and quite stocky. Would go again .

I stayed here last week for 4 nights with my little dog, Katie. Alison was really welcoming and friendly and i felt right at home. The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. It had everything you could want, there were even dog bowls waiting for us which I thought was lovely. The room was warm and comfortable, a king-size bed...

Stayed for three nights in a king sized room, for sole occupancy, at the great rate of £30 per night including breakfast. On arrival, I was met by Alison, who made me feel at home during my stay. The room was a reasonable size and furnished to a high modern standard. The entire guest house was spotless - no dirt...

Warm welcome on arrival and made to feel at home at all times. Large room with king sized bed, 4 pillows, duvet and ensuite shower room. Soap and shower gel in place. Everything clean and tidy. Choice of breakfast items, freshly cooked to order. An unusual but particularly useful touch was the small scissors on each table to open the...
