Just home from an overnight stay. The reason for the visit was to see a play at the Theatre. Could not have stayed at a better place. The walk from the railway station was not too far. Upon arrival we were made very welcome. Our room was specious and had all we required. After a quick change into town for...

Looked for a gay friendly hotel in Scarborough as I was visiting for a concert and did not know the area at all. Found Interludes on the web and proceeded to book two rooms. Communication between myself and the owners was great. When we arrived we were made to feel very welcome, taxi numbers and recommendations for places to eat...

Returned to Scarborough after a two year abscence, delighted to find my favourite hotel is still as good as ever. Bob and Ian are fantastic hosts, my room was beautifully clean, breakfast as much as I wanted and of great quality. I love this hotel, always interesting people to meet or I can be as quiet as I wish. What...

My friend and I spent a splendid, comfortable 7 nights B & B at this hotel. Throughout there is a wide variety of framed, past advertisements for theatrical events on the walls, that were fascinating to look at even for non theatrical buffs like us. The breakfasts were really good and generous. A good choice cereals to choose from, as...

An absolute delight to visit this hotel. Lovely and quiet despite being almost a stone's throw from the hustle and bustle of the harbour area. Bob and Ian were interesting and helpful hosts; breakfast spot on and rooms clean and functional. It is a very quirky place which the discerning visitor will 'get' and any negative reviews really say more...

After reading other reviews on this bed and breakfast and visiting the web site decided to book this place thinking it would be something special, it was certainly something I have not experienced before. After travelling for hours, finally arrived at the accommodation to find it is on quite a steep hill, and once you get to the road it...

Just returned home from this hotel after just one nights stay. Had booked in for two nights but could not stand to stay another minute longer. This hotel should not be operating as it does not meet even basis standard needs. From the moment we arrived our hearts sank the exterior of the building lacks any curb appeal whatsoever ....

My wife and I spent several enjoyable days at Ian and Bob's delightful hotel, ideally situated in a pleasant road in the old part of Scarborough, just a few minutes walk from the harbour and foreshore. Picturesque sea views are available from some of the rooms. The hotel has a theatre theme, and the proprietors have an excellent knowledge of...

Interludes is a hotel that I return to year after year. It is a small hotel situated in the heart of Scarborough's Old Town commanding panoramic views of the South Bay from the upper floors. The proprietors Ian and Bob have an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of the theatre and the hotel offers theatre packages in conjunction with The Stephen Joseph...
