If you're looking for something a little different then this is definitely the place. Cute, quirky and a central location. Stayed in the windmill itself and it's a beautiful building full of character. Great facilities and parking on site which is even better.

We don't usually review holiday accommodation in the UK as it tends to be a bit tired and/or have been attacked by an interior decorator with a fear of empy spaces. We were looking at the last minute as we suddenly decided to spend New Year with friends a week before Christmas. We stayed in Cornflower cottage 2. This place...

We spent 2 nights at The Windmill over the new year. The rooms were fab, with all mod cons, and all set alongside the windmill which is a listed building. We had some pretty awful weather and quite cold, but the heating in the room was fab. Bed was very comfortable and the hosts were always around and willing to...

We stayed in the Madeline apartment in the windmill. It was absolutely fantastic. Spotlessly clean, comfortable and unique. The proprietor, Dave was really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Parking on site and only a few minutes walk into town. Would definately stay again.

We stayed overnight on a b+b basis. What wonderful accommodation we stayed in that night. A 2-storey flat with everything we needed at hand. It was a really peaceful time without any disturbance. The breakfast was 1st rate and nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone. We will return without question.

Just stayed one night for Bed & Breakfast. The room was lovely and cosy as the weather was wet and windy. Bed 4 poster bed was comfortable and room was spotless. Breakfast was of very high standard with plenty of choice and plentiful. I had kippers which is not often on offer elsewhere. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Would definitely...

Made to feel welcome on arrival. Owner very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. This is a unique property but difficult to spot from the surrounding area. Apartment clean and very comfortable. Full English breakfast spot on but other options available. Close to all amenities.

Nestled down a quiet cul de sac, on site parking very useful. Friendly welcome and a helpful staff. We stayed in a lovely room with four poster bed in one of several outbuildings, we would have loved to stay in the windmill itself but it was taken unfortunately. Five minute walk from the main shopping area and the railway station,...
