This was our first visit to the Red Lea and I am happy to say it will not be our last. The check in at reception was quick and efficient, done by very pleasant and informative staff, in fact we found all the reception staff to be lovely and the night porter was friendly too. Our room was exceptional. The...

Hotel was ok. Room was cosy but had to stuff toilet roll in to window as it let a lot of cold air in. And my mum couldn't have a shower as there was no grab rail in the shower but apart from that room was nice. Only other negative thing I have to say is about the serving staff....

I'll be honest, the very low price for a weekend booking worried me, but as most of the reviews on here are positive, I thought I'd give it a go. I'm so glad we went, nice bug room, decent bathroom with jacuzzi bath. Very very clean and well laid out. Comfortable bed with decent linen. It's an old building, so...

We celebrated our auntie's 60th at the hotel, we all had lovely rooms with good facilities (ours had a sea view through a lovely big bay window) , the food was excellent ( we'd read previous reviews about a "70s style breakfast" and have no idea what that means) and for the money we paid it was great value. The...

Had a very enjoyable time at the Red Lea, very well fed at all meals coupled with a very friendly and helpful staff. On the down side the bedrooms could have been a bit warmer during the day. Enjoyed the 2 nights entertainment. Our bedroom was tastily decorated but a wall light over the tea/coffee area would have been helpful....
