Stayed here between the 20-24th March 2017. Absolutely spotless and so friendly. Breakfast is to die for.( it's bigger than the kitchen sink and freshly cooked to order. At £50 per night we couldn't ask for anymore. Our room was en-suit clean and well looked after. Highly recommend for a nice stay at a fair price. Thank you Jamie, staff and...

Stayed here 27/1 - 29/1 for a weekend break to celebrate my Wife's upcoming birthday. We usually prefer to stay up on the North Cliff when in Scarborough but our usual haunts weren't open at this time of year. So we opted for the Almar with it being close to all amenities on the North side and I've got to...

My father stayed at The Almar for two nights from 31st Dec - 2nd January. His stay at The Almar was absolutely fantastic. He suffers from a number of medical conditions and the staff (Jamie) were incredibly helpful beyond what customer service you would normally expect at a hotel. He stayed and looked after my father on NYE night and...

Stayed in room 4, rear aspect. The room was clean with decent quality bedding and towels. The en-suite bathroom was a little compact but perfectly functional. The T.V. worked well as did the heating. The breakfast was really good (far better than I've experienced in other hotels). There is a bar in the dining room where you can use a...

We arrived at The Almar and tried to break in the door..... I didn't see the doorbell sign with was pointed out to me. Whoops not a good start on my behalf. The door was opened by a really friendly smiley faced person who introduced himself as Jamie. He told us all about The Almar and advised us that we...
