Very clean room, food great. Stayed here on business for a week. The pub below has a speaker directly below my room so when I am in bed all I hear late on into the night is load music and then early in the morning it is the same. Although, bed was comfortable and the room was adequate.

Dear Loza I am glad your enjoyed the room and our restaurant, and only sorry and a tad surprised that the background music was this loud, and have spoken to all about monitoring it. We shall live and learn and thank you for your review Yours Jonathan

Lovely inn. Excellent staff, service and accommodation. Lovely hot and fresh breakfast. Could not fault a thing. We booked at 9.00 pm on the same day as we were travelling and that was no problem to them.

The room was nice, it was larger than I expected. It was a large bed and the facilities were good. The food was a very good standard, a little slow but nice. The price was pretty good for what you get.

Room was clean and tidy and the breakfast was superb and service. They also except dogs at no extra charge,as we were down in for the southern county's dog show which was only 6 miles away. If we're in that area again I wouldn't look anywhere else.

We stayed at the Hare and Hounds Hotel overnight when visiting The Watermill Theatre nearby. We received a very cordial greeting and our room in the annexe was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed a drink in the bar before dining in the beautiful Barn restaurant. Breakfast was also served in the Barn and consisted of cereals, yogurts, juices, etc....

Don't believe the mixed reviews for this B&B. This hotel is charming, adorable and memorable beyond what you'll ever expect. Debbie Bah (the reservations manager) agreed to place a lilly on the bed so that when my sister arrived she would see my mother's favorite flower (she died last week). Not only did Debbie place one lily, she placed three...

Stayed one night on business and had a very confortable and enjoyable stay. The room was quite spacious and well equipped for the star rating, but the real plus points were the restaurant and outside space. All staff were friendly and a pleasure to speak to. Thank you!

We decided to treat ourselves to Saturday lunch after shopping. We had tried the Hare and Hounds prior to its refurbishment and the opening of its new restaurant. We were not disappointed. We both opted for the steak pie - delicious. Helped down by a pint of good bitter. Recommended.
