we just poped in for a rest and a cup of coffee and a toasted teacake, into the cafe right on the front, it would of got a 5 star if the young lady serving us had actually given a knife to spread the butter with and spoons to stir the late with but no one is perfect

Hotel's Favourite
We stumbled on this little gem of a cafe passing by on our way back home to London and we were very impressed. The cafe is modern, super clean and spacious. You get a lovely warm welcome. The staff were professional and on the ball. The food was LOVELY! The club sandwich was fantastic and highly recommended. The rest of the family had omelettes and salmon and eggs which were equally great. The mochas were so tasty! This place also helps the community by taking on apprentices going through hardship ( homelessness etc ) and we all really applauded that. The apprentices provided fantastic service and beautiful food. Great job team. Leave these guys a generous tip for the great work they are doing. If we ever come back this way we will be stopping off again for sure. Thank you to the staff of the beach hotel cafe!

Old hotel on the seafront. We had second floor large room at the front with marvellous views of the sea and harbour. Breakfast was great especially the smoked haddock. Nice town with great walks available.
