We stayed her for one next for a birthday celebration and the b&b was brilliant. On arrival we we're greeted by Steve who showed us to our rooms. The rooms were lovely and had everything you needed for a little get away. Nothing was too much trouble, as Steve even bought up a vacuum at 9pm to help us get...

This is a lovely, friendly B&B. The rooms are very clean and comfortable with ensuite and tv. We stayed for a week and had a room at the front with lovely views. Although it was on the main road which was busy at rush hour it was very quiet at night. The second time we spent just one night as...

I stayed at this lovely guest house several nights a week for an extended period. For me the attraction was that it felt more like a home-from-home than a hotel, I got a personal welcome, extra help like looking after my luggage and retrieving forgotten items, the rooms felt very cosy, and I slept very well there. It has all...

My Wife and I spent two nights at this guest house. This Guest House is spotlessly clean. The proprietor and the staff are very nice and friendly people. Our bedroom was large with front views of the Pennines looking over the house tops. The breakfasts are excellent with alternatives at no extra cost. The rates very competitive. You must try...

Stayed here in the week for 4+ months, What a great B&B, great rooms all a good size with coffee/tea making facilities, TV's and ensuite. Steve does a great full English as well as other options. If you need a room in the area that is good value for money you can't go wrong.

Stayed for a one night stay at this guest house. The owners are welcoming and friendly. The accommodation is very clean, bright and comfortable. Breakfast is beautifully cooked and presented and parking is free and ample. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay when in the area.

Recently stayed here for 2 nights.Rooms are spacious, with freeview TV, wifi, kettle, hairdryer and plenty of storage space. My room had an ensuite shower room with a really powerful full sized shower. The room was lovely and warm, and tastefully decorated. The owners were really helpful with arrival times and slightly altering their usual breakfast times to accommodate my...

Stayed for 2 nights at this superb local Guest House due to work being carried out in my house. Very warm and friendly welcome, lovely bedroom, spotlessly clean throughout. Chose not to have the breakfast but the smell from the kitchen was delicious! Would highly recommend staying.

"Comfortable rooms" "Excellent breakfast" "Friendly, helpful and welcoming" just some of the comments from our guest book in 2012. We offer a modern approach to B & B with the emphasis on great value and outstanding service. We don't charge a fortune but that doesn't mean that what we offer is second best, we work hard to ensure that what we offer exceeds expectations. We look forward to meeting you soon! ... more   less
