Staying here for a one night break in a recently refurbished room. We had a family room which was large and also had a leather sofa. We booked in for a meal at the restaurant. It was lovely home cooked food of a very high standard and very generous " Yorkshire portions". The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast...

The staff were friendly on arrival. The room was clean and tidy, nicely appointed with a few extra touches like tea, coffee and toiletries. The room was very hot and stuffy, so we had to turn the radiators off and open the windows. This let the sound of the M62 in but was numbed with ear plugs. Air conditioning would be...

Just stayed for one night with my wife as we were attending a friends birthday party in a local village. Very comfortable, and friendly service experienced as well as a very nice breakfast. We also tried their bar menu which provided a variety of 'pub-like ' meals which were very tasty and very good value for money. We were fortunate...

Nice mid-range option for an overnight stay. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice setting close to the M62. Bed was very comfy, and rooms had tea/coffee facilities as well as TV and free WiFi. My only slight criticisms were the shower (water was hot but very weak with no power), and also the walls between rooms which are thin (I...
