As the quality of the meat was excellent £30 for 3 courses offers good value for money. I had the beef and my partner had the roast lamb ... delicious! Puddings were okay but then I'm not a pudding fan. Service was good too. My only gripe would be the temperature of the restaurant, way way too hot!

My husband and I visited for Saturday lunch after a number of recommendations. We both had the soup of the day which was carrot and coriander which was beautifully seasoned. For mains we had fish and chips - opted for the small portion which was ample. The staff were plentiful and very helpful. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed and...

We visited on a Sunday evening five friends looking for great food. We noticed it was more expensive than your average place but oh boy it was worth every single penny! All five starters, mains and puddings even the artisan breads every single thing was perfection and we will definitely be regulars from now on. The young staff were polite...

Came off spec as had previously visited over 20 years ago when I used to live up there and was in area. Initial impression on greeting was we weren't good enough as not dressed for a posh place but , as they were quiet, found us a table. We were then left to look at a menu for 20 minutes...

We are disappointed to receive a review of this nature particularly when so many visitors are posting much higher ratings. An occasion such as this is very much out of character.

Arrived with 3 friends for lunch. We were the first to arrive but in no time the place was very busy and a nice buzz about the place. I'm not going to go on and use the clichés you often find on Trip Advisor, it was all great. Fish and chips, curry, steak and ale pie (lovely!) and the catch...

I had stayed in the 3 Acres a number of years ago and was highly impressed then. I was passing through Yorkshire so I thought I would stay for one night to see if it was still as good as I remember. I had a single room in the actual building which was very comfortable and clean. The ensuite was...

Visited last month & were seated in 1 of the newly decorated private dining rooms. There were 15 of us & the service was fantastic from start to finish! The food (from the abbreviated menu-as there were more than 10 of us) was beautiful. We will definitely be going back!!

Stayed at Three Acres last night. When we arrived it was very busy with Sunday lunch, we were shown to our room which was a standard double and I was disappointed with the room which was quite basic and small but I asked if we could be upgraded as it was my boyfriends birthday and wanted it to be nice....

My wife treat me to a meal for my birthday at 3 Acres. We were really looking forward to it as it had been highly recommended to us from several people. I had the Tuna Nicoise to start which was probably the best starter I've ever had, it was beautiful. For my main I had Sirloin Steak which in all...
