The hotel staff were friendly and exceptionally helpful. Breakfasts were excellent and service was prompt and friendly. Da Sandro's restaurant was fantastic Italian food. We really had a nice stay. Our room was clean and quiet.

I had to stay here for several weeks. Great location for the motorway and Huddersfield town centre only a short drive away. Rooms were clean and well appointed and the staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Plenty of safe parking. Food is provided by Da Sandros - an Italian restaurant next door that's been open for years and very popular...

The breakfast is really good -just what you need to start the day. Staff are always friendly and efficient. Rooms are modern and spotless. Italian restaurant next door serves genuine food. I had to wait thirty minutes for a table but worth the wait.

I booked a one night stay in a Superior Room. I am not disabled but I was given a disabled room - the hotel was far from full - and I honestly failed to see what was "superior" about it (well, apart from the white toweling dressing gown that nearly fit me). Worst of all though, were two significant problems...

This hotel doesn't try to be pretentious, it's clean, the prices are reasonable and the reception staff very friendly. The decor is a bit 1980s. Our room was ok for one night, but would be rather small for anything longer. The proximity to the main road could be problematic for a light sleeper or someone who wants a cool room...

Friendly welcome, comfortable room with good hospitality tray I used the room service during my stay and the food, supplied by the neighbouring Italian restaurant was very nice and excellent value. I slept well and felt relaxed here.

Good location close to M62 and town. Nice welcoming staff and rooms are great. Well laid out breakfasts with well presented and big portions. It was a pleasure to stay and next door is Italian restaurant with great food and service.

Briar Court offers simple, well-presented rooms at a competitive price. It's 3* and it definitely is one of the better ones - you're ot left scratching your head wondering how it got that rating. The rooms aren't huge, but they don't need to be. They're well equipped with a TV, bath and shower and toiletries. One let down is the...

Excellent stay, very welcoming even though due to traffic travelling from Kent we arrived very late. Breakfast was outstanding and having a very fussy partner he advised me they must have an egg chef as the eggs were cooked to perfection. I personally didn't sleep very well due to a recent accident I had, and asked if there were any...

When we checked into the Briar Court last Saturday afternoon, it had just started to snow and was freezing cold. We met up with our son and daughter in law in reception along with family and friends. We decided to go up to our room to offload our luggage before rejoining the group. Now I have to admit that I...
