A warm welcome greeted us after a very long road trip. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts, and information on places to visit and eat in the area was spot on. Our room was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast choice was plentiful and so was the portion size. I would not hesitate to return here or to recommend...

We stayed overnight at St Ives and as a couple who have traveled a lot in the area, this was one of our favourite stays. Sandra was very welcoming, informative and willing to help whenever needed. The breakfast was also lovely! We had our Golden Retriever with us which was a treat as most places don't allow dogs! Our dog...

Dinner and snacks (and Room Service) are detailed in the Guests Information booklet. However, we were discouraged from ordering Dinner "as there are lots of choices with atmosphere in Dunoon". On Valentine's Day, my husband intended bringing me cooked breakfast in bed, but was only "allowed" to bring me cold Continental... Paid extra for a sea view room, 4 flights...

Check-in was at 1pm, nice and early - so after we'd been for a walk to Puck's Glen (highly recommended!), we arrived at the hotel and were warmly welcomed by Sandra. The location is superb - right next to the sea and promenade, with a pebble beach for walking our dog, and a play area with swings and slides for...

This small hotel is directly on the edge of the Clyde River in a big, old Victorian, former private residence; the owners are helpful and delightful to know. Breakfast is lovely. It is also not more than three houses from where I used to live on down the promenade (along the Clyde river shore). Dunoon is a delight to visit;...
