Went for a night away on a dreuch day in Nov. Hotel straight opposite the ferry, which we used as it was very foggy and we didn't fancy the drive round. Room large, clean and bright. The only downside was that there was a bath but no shower. Food good, breakfast excellent, served and not a buffet, which we like....

Booked via Group on. Staff friendly...food nice and fresh...rooms clean. Hotel undergoing renovations. We had a room to back of hotel. Very clean and warm..a bit dated but immaculately clean..all you need for a night.

This hotel is lovely regardless of the renovations being done. Room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Food is out of this world & very tasty! The staff are an amazing, helpful and friendly bunch! Big tip for people visiting Dunoon - book ferry tickets in advance, a lot cheaper. Will definitely be back!

This very old hotel (1880) is in need of a face lift but the owners are trying with rooms being refurbished all the time. Sadly there are basic things that let it down very badly. We had a stunning room looking over the water ( extra £20) but the basic essentials were missing ...... heating and hot water. On arrival...

Just returned from a great wee overnight stay at the Marine . Cheap groupon deal . Impressive view of the hotel as you drive in , as you draw closer you notice it's looking a bit tired , flaky paint and some rotted woodwork evident , however, there is also evidence up improvement/ refurb works going on and this included...

I really like this hotel. We had to get the sheets changed before we moved in. The warm water had to be switched on for us. However the character oozed out of this place and it was well situated opposite the Ferry Terminal. The food was what I would expect, the room was enormous with a walk in cupboard and...
