Stayed here for one night in April 2017 on my own whilst down for work. I had a single room which was just enough and good value for money. Bedroom and bathroom were immaculate. I ate here on the evening and the food was pleasant and good value for money. A decent selection of real ales including Tim Taylor's Landlord...

One of the nicest meals out I've had in a long time. Excellent friendly and efficient service, great food, well kept beer and a nice atmosphere. So impressed with the food: maybe best desert ever- and I've had a few!

We stayed overnight in a family room, all other rooms were booked, so the room was huge. It looked like the room had recently been decorated, it was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. The whole stay was very good value for money, would definitely stay again.

We've been here many times before. A little gem slightly off the High Street of Chepstow that is well worth making a 3 minute detour. Super-friendly staff who are welcoming, attentive and happy to be there. We arrived for our meal and had a second-to-none-experience. The landlord approached us and conciencously looked after us and made an effort to get...

Our meals were very reasonably priced, well presented. Service was polite and friendly. Our only problem was a group of 'ladies' that decided to sit at the table next to us. One of them we could have done without - firstly she had brought a dog with her, and although I like dogs, I don't like to smell them when...

Very comfortable, coffee machine in the room, breakfast and pub downstairs. Seconds walk from the Queens Head, Camra pub of the year and many resturaunts nearby. Lovely landlord who invested a tidy sum in smartening up the place.
