Nice campsite but a bit remote for families with small kids. Couple of pubs within 30/35 minutes. Walked to the waterloo pub but was closed. After that we walked to the Crown in Taddington. Very disappointing to walk to one pub (closed) and then to walk to the Crown which had only Carling lager or a dark beer! The campsite...

Camped for 5 nights at Beech Croft farm whilst cycling the Monsal Trail and had a lovely experience. The site staff were very friendly and accommodating and the site itself was fantastic. The pitches are all relatively flat and all within a short distance from first class facilities. Clean toilets and showers are the holy grail of most campsites and...

We have just returned home after a gorgeous weekend away with our caravan at Beech Croft Farm. The site is beautiful and very clean. We went with our 3 boys and 2 dogs. It's perfect for dogs and kids, fantastic enclosed area for the dogs and two large areas for kids to play. The facilities are brilliant, clean and well...

I have stayed here many times in my touring caravan with my wife and grandson. Situated between Buxton and Bakewell and many more villages in and around, this is an ideal spot to stay. The campsite takes caravans, motorhomes and has dedicated fields for campers with tents. Electric hook up available with plenty of water outlets, waste facilities and chemical...

Second visit to what is going to become our "go to" site. The facilities are excellent, the welcome from the owners is warm and genuine. We pretty much had the site to ourselves due to the time of year and the owners were busy enhancing and improving the already excellent pitches. Excellent dog walk. Fabulous walking right on the doorstep...

Great campsite stayed there this weekend from Friday to Sunday. Showers are lovely and warm and clean. Electric hookup and water on pitch. They don't make you pay for your dog's either, even though they provide dog washing facilities, and dog exercise field. Fantastic walks from the site, and the owners are very friendly. Will definitely stay here again. Thank...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this fantastic site. From the lovely friendly welcome on arrival to the pleasantly spaced pitches and immaculate facilities this was by far the best site we have stayed on in a long time - if not the best! We had a pitch with amazing views and our two dogs just...

The facilities here are second to none. Your own accessible fridge for freezing your cool box ice packs, wonderful shower and loo blocks, children's playground, dog walking area- the only thing is, remember to take your own travel hair dryer as there are sockets for them in the Ladies.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay on this site. Facilities are excellent. Quiet site with very pleasant owners in a beautiful position...what's not to like? Hard standings so good all year round, and plenty to do in the area. On the edge of Monsal Trail (down quite a steep and rather slippy in places path) we walked into Bakewell, a couple...
