Great campsite stayed there this weekend from Friday to Sunday. Showers are lovely and warm and clean. Electric hookup and water on pitch. They don't make you pay for your dog's either, even though they provide dog washing facilities, and dog exercise field. Fantastic walks from the site, and the owners are very friendly. Will definitely stay here again. Thank...

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this fantastic site. From the lovely friendly welcome on arrival to the pleasantly spaced pitches and immaculate facilities this was by far the best site we have stayed on in a long time - if not the best! We had a pitch with amazing views and our two dogs just...

The facilities here are second to none. Your own accessible fridge for freezing your cool box ice packs, wonderful shower and loo blocks, children's playground, dog walking area- the only thing is, remember to take your own travel hair dryer as there are sockets for them in the Ladies.

Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay on this site. Facilities are excellent. Quiet site with very pleasant owners in a beautiful position...what's not to like? Hard standings so good all year round, and plenty to do in the area. On the edge of Monsal Trail (down quite a steep and rather slippy in places path) we walked into Bakewell, a couple...

We stayed here for 3 nights in our tent. The location is fantastic with amazing views. Friendly owners. It's very clean and tidy. We stayed out of season so there was plenty of space and tranquillity. Great location between the local towns of Bakewell and Buxton, also very close to the gorgeous Chatsworth House. You are in the heart of...

Hi Sazzle1976 Thank you so much for your review :) We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us and the surrounding areas. Chatsworth is beautiful isn't it! As you have mentioned above- we do have 3 larger showers in the unisex area not just the 1 ;) Up to now we have never had any complaints...

Came here for 2 nights on a whim, and was impressed with the facilities, particularly the wash/ shower facilities which are often muddy and damp at other sites. They were warm, dry and clean which was ideal after a days walk. The little camp shop in reception is limited but has essentials should you forget something. Finally we were also...

Stayed here for two nights in my motorhome. Although the site was full we didn't feel at all cramped or crowded. The pitches were large & very well spaced with EHU & water at each pitch. The facilities were outstanding, very clean & well kept. Plenty of walks locally & within easy access of many visitor attractions. Very peaceful location...
