We stayed in room 6 on the top floor with our 3 year old. We had a nice kingsize with a nice fold out bed settee for the little one. The style of B&B is homely and traditional. En-suite was a little small but perfectly functional and and seemed to be recently updated. The free wifi was excellent. The proprietors... More

Comfortable room with important superking bed. Substantial breakfast and pleasant hosts. I am lactose intolerant and my milk was specially bought in which was much appreciated. This overnighter was part of a birthday treat for my partner after a fabulous show at the Opera house . 10cc certainly have lost none of their magic. What musicians!

Clean, quiet and centrally located. Breakfast was delicious. The owners were very helpful, suggested we take the guided tour on the vintage tram and we would definitely recommend this, Nic was extremely informative. Would definitely recommend this B & B.

There was a warm welcome on our arrival. The room was a good size, clean and comfortable making it feel like a home away from home. Breakfast was delicious and with a good selection available too and there was fresh milk provided daily for tea & coffee in the room. The guesthouse is just a short walk away from the... More

We stayed at this guesthouse for my birthday on Friday 10th July. An amazing location, just a five minute walk into Buxton town. The owners are very hospitable and go that extra mile to create a perfect stay. We took our dog and was offered the option of a dog sitting service to allow us to pop into the town... More

Small B&B but provides great accommodation, lovely breakfast and pleasant hosts. Couldn't have been better. If you are eating out in the evening try Barbarella's in the town. Nice wine bar and great food but food only served until 8pm

Can't find a fault with the old manse guesthouse Warm welcome on arrival from Elizabeth, she is full of information as is the booklet in the room. Good sized room and super king sized bed. Everything in the room is spotless. Breakfast was very generous. I had my own oatcakes but didn't really need them as the old manse has... More
