Self closer on door was broken ( very important fire precaution). Room was very tired but bed was clean and comfortable . All the staff were pleasant , had a good...

We stayed here for the second time and it serves our purpose, staff friendly, rooms are fine for a short break, be aware breakfast is cereal etc a surcharge of £2.50 for a full cooked. Not a major issue but not clear when booking. Breakfast was lovely and cooked to order. I will use this hotel again for sure.

Mermaid Hotel is a building with several beds. Nothing more, nothing less. If you want a cheap hotel, then this is the cheapest you will get in Yeovil. However, you get what you pay for. I would not recommend this hotel to someone who expect anything more than that.

I have stayed here on numerous occasions with both work and leisure. It is a typical family run establishment, I have stayed in many places in both Yeovil and around Somerset. I have always found the staff to be polite and helpful. It is without a shadow of a doubt my favourite place to stay in Yeovil. I have stayed...

I am sure like everyone else If I stayed in a hotel and it was as bad as you have described this one to be then I certainly would not have repeated the experience. You're review seems very odd to me. Whilst the hotel has its faults it most certainly is not a dump. It can be noisy I agree....

This hotel has live music on at weekends and can be a little on the loud side depending on the group. It was great as we enjoy a good band, and being in the heart of Yeovil town it's what you'd expect. The bar is very cosy although a bit dark on a sunny day with a good selection of...
