AVOID!! This run down pit is definitely worth avoiding!!! Stick to a. Rand name hotel. This place is so run down it is likely to fall down in the next storm!!! Budget Hotels Group is an understatement. The professional photos are false advertising. The hotel is more out of date than Fawlty Towers!! Check In: smooth enough, paperwork all ready...

I know we are restricted when travellers with a dog, but we have stayed in some great rooms over the last 13yr with him. This place is dire. It needs about half million pounds throwing at it and some new staff. Good points, the bed was clean although no mattress protector. The breakfast for £5 each was ok. One male...

Ok so you pull up and u think oh dear what have I booked, but actually was a pleasant surprise. We wanted one night away from home and work life and to be honest just some silence. Our room was so peaceful we didn't leave it like planned. The lady on reception (sat night ,sun morning) was so kind and...

I knew when I was only paying £35 for a room that it wasn't going to be the height of luxury. The room was clean and mostly fit for purpose. The receptionist and night porter were polite and helpful. The room was room, but the window wouldn't shut properly. The bathroom was clean but was slightly in disrepair, I didn't...

I'm not one to write reviews, however I felt like something had to be said. When I booked my trip, I read many reviews that made me query my decision, but budget restricted me booking anywhere else. I've been staying at Paddington for 4 nights now, and my stay has been far from anything described on here. Yes the hotel...

I have not visited for a long time. This used to be a very 'plush/posh' hotel but I was surprised to see how dilapidated things have become. To be fair, there was an afternoon presentation from a local environment group and the function room was in quite good order. There were a lot of people there. Some were in wheelchairs...

Had chips, burger and coffee here and have to say it was particularly unpleasant. The chips were oven chips that hadn't been cooked properly and had gone cold, the burger had chewy bits in and the coffee had a weird smokey taste. It was only cheap but certainly not cheerful. Despite the low price it still wast worth the money.

Please ignore the negative comments, some people expect too much for £40 a night. It's basic but comfortable. Booked for 1 night and stayed for 2 (even when the website said it was fully booked and no rooms available) the awesome staff managed to juggle a few rooms around enabling us to stay an extra night............ well done. Clean towels...
