We ate twice at tis hotel whilst staying elsewhere in Ross on Wye - we had both dinner and breakfast. The service was good and the meals were very tasty, nicely cooked and presented and well as hot, basically everything you want in a good meal. The decor was very pleasant and they had a nice selection of beers to...

Another superb visit to The Royal. Went for Sunday lunch with our granddaughter. Is there a nicer venue? We never eat in the dining room as the bar offers such amazing views. I can't believe that it was so quiet on Easter Sunday. We just love the place Great place. Great views. Great food. Great staff. Thank you once more

Stayed here for 4 nights. Had a room with River view. View was beautiful. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The hotel is based on the edge of town and minutes from the A40. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Stopped by for an impulsive lunch and had an absolutely stunning meal! Scallops on a bed of pea puree with garlic, and smoked bacon, totally yummy, followed by chicken ravioli with olives & cherry tomatoes, another tasty dish followed by white choc, eton mess sundae for me and sticky toffee pud for my guest! We were both more than impressed...

The staff were very accommodating and extremely friendly towards their clients. You...

Dear Lesley, So pleased to hear you enjoyed your visit. I am afraid there is no lift to the second floor, but if you book a room with a view it certainly does make it worth it for the aspect over the river valley! Rob, Lead Recpeitonist
