Me and my husband were staying in Ross on wye and we came across this pub for a drink one afternoon. It's very cosy inside and after looking at the menu, we decided to book for dinner. We are so glad we did! The food was gorgeous and we left feeling very full and content! The staff were lovely and...

I really enjoyed our stay at the King's Head. Comfortable bed, good shower, very clean and with some quirky period features. Particular mention for the best large white fluffy towels I've seen in any hotel, 5 star included. Easy off Street parking at the rear of the hotel. We had a Superior double room on the second floor which was...

Never realised how good this place is. Perfect place for afternoon tea. Scones perfect, jam just right and enough clotted cream to satisfy anyone. Great prices and great service. Dog friendly too which great in a hotel. The dinner menu looked good too so I'll be back to try it out. I'd recommend this place.

I enjoyed the days I stayed there. Very cozy hotel that oozes history. The bedroom floor is probably the most uneven I've seen, but the room was very cozy and clean. The service at the hotel was very good - and the restaurant provided high quality food (And you were satiated after a meal).

We stopped off for Supper after a long, busy day at the NEC. We had the most delicious meals; they were served with a smile, came very quickly and were piping hot. The Venison is highly recommended. We ate in the Bar which was lively for a Sunday night without being busy. Décor is in keeping with the Olde World...

I visited here last weekend with a friend. We had a superb room, great en-suite. The hotel itself is full of character. A decent tea tray with a mix of coffees and teas. The hotel has not bene spoilt trying to modernise .. so there are little corridors and staircases - all very charming. The bar in the evening was...

Stayed at the Kings Head for one night on our way to Wales. We had a good evening meal and a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bedroom. The hotel had garage parking for the car and the bedroom had excellent facilities and comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the evening meal was very good -...

We met up with some friends just after Christmas. As ever we had a great welcome to the hotel. Rooms are well maintained, although as it is a very old place, some of the climbs to the room were very steep, but this adds to the character. There is a very lively public bar at the front of the hotel,...

stayed here for 1 night d.b.b. on 29th December for the 2nd time. The welcome was friendly and the room lovely & cosy with lashings of hot water. We had supper included and it was fab, as was the breakfast. The location is in the centre of the quaint little town and well worth a visit.
