our first experience of this hotel came by accident. The proprietors were so helpful and gave us three super nights stay. Food is excellent and accommodation value for money. We have over the past five or six years stayed at the old court at least 7 times and have to date had no reason to complain about anything. More to...

We felt welcome from the start , entering the reception area where an log burner oozed warmth and offered seating where we were were allowed to gently unwind from our journey at our own pace. Food and drinks were available from the onset and the tea and coffee making facilities in the room was also very welcome. We were offered...

We come here often and every time we have received a friendly welcome and good service. The food is excellent and portions are large! We particularly love the Thai Chicken curry from the Specials board. Thank you!

We returned today from a 3 night stay. It's s beautiful place to stay. Very peaceful. We arrived late on the Friday evening to be treated by a lovely member of staff on reception. We were shown to our room and was asked if we would like any help with our luggage (not something that's always asked these days). We...

From arrival to departure, our expectations were exceeded. The team at the hotel could not have been more friendly or helpful, excellent service in all areas. The owners have made the most of this wonderful old building, incorporating contemporary facilities and amenities carefully. We stayed in the Cottage which was spacious and light and very comfortable. Great breakfast and bar...

We visited this hotel, for a short break. The welcome was as amazing as the food. Sticky toffee pudding was delightful. Realy quaint hotel, with lots of history and features. Staff so friendly and knowledgable. Can't wait to come back, already booked our next stay. Would recommend to anyone. Lots to do in the local area. Hereford centre a short...

I have to say I've had a look at some of the negative reviews about the creaky floors and had to laugh. The building dates to the 1500's; what do people expect!? For me, this was all part of the charm of this lovely hotel. I've always wanted to stay in a really old hotel and this place was full...
