My GPS found the hotel with no problem. The owner was most affable and arranged for me to have breakfast at the earliest possible time of 07:30. The hotel in in a large semi detached property from the early 20th century and has a pleasant lounge and breakfast room downstairs. My bedroom was very large and of family size as...

Lovely b&b on a quiet road. We were welcomed by Diane. We stayed in the family room. Nice size room. Beds very comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and satisfying. Doug and Diane are excellent hosts. We will visit again.

A late decision to head to Blackpool for a family weekend was nearly thwarted by lack of available, nice looking b&b’s. I had visited Lytham earlier in the year when my lad played in a football tournament and thought it looked a little less commercial and hectic than Blackpool itself. I found the hotel by ‘driving’ up various side streets...

Small single room on first floor at rear would probably suit workmen but not suitable for women guests on leisure trip. Old, cramped toilet, washbasin and shower areas. No space for toiletries. The light/shower cords didn't have a pull on the end of them and were filthy. Owner did wash the cords on request and replaced them with the same...

Stayed here with my family of 2 adults and 2 children aged 7 and 9 for a short weekend break for a family wedding nearby. Arrived quite late due to illumination traffic. Called ahead and 'Doug' was great and didn't mind our late arrival (10.30pm). We were shown to our room and given a room key. There was a relaxed...

A basic no frills B and B, located in good position adjacent to promenade. A little dated but very clean and tidy. Nice white fluffy towels, pretty fresh smelling bedding. Ample breakfast and pleasant owner. Closer to St Annes than Lytham but well placed for all areas.

The hotel has a nice friendly atmosphere, with helpful and welcoming hosts. It is situated very close to the Promenade and Beach, and about a ten minute walk to the main shopping and restaurant areas. The hotel is very traditional, and although not modern, the hotel was very clean, the beds (with Memory Foam Mattresses) very comfortable, and the breakfast...

My 13 year old daughter and I have jusy stayed at the Cumbria Hotel and we had a lovely stay. We were in the area for the 'West End Proms' at the Lytham Festival, which was sadly cut short after only 20 minutes due to bad weather, leaving me with a heartbroken daughter as she didn't get to see her...

Returned to this again. Breakfast was great, a full English with tea/coffee and cereal/fruit. It was all nicely cooked and hot. Good hosts, very helpful. Not posh but very clean, overall a good hotel.
