Stayed here for my graduation and it was very well suited. There is a 24 hr bar which is useful. The signal is a bit rubbish and the rooms outdated but they are very clean and comfy. Had a huge telly too. Love it.

It took a whole hour to get our breakfast served. There was no apology. The waitress told us the chef was on holiday. Also it wasn't possible to get an evening meal the kitchen was closed. Some of our party were offered fresh milk for tea and coffee in the room - we weren't. If we hadn't paid in advance...

We stayed at the Cedars, last w/end, 7 of us, we found the hotel cool and cute, the staff were helpful and friendly and the hotel was well placed for the Grand Central Railway, The rooms were fine, with all the amenities, although, our bathroom was a little tired, could do with some small remedial work and a small table...

Stayed recently at the hotel for a wedding. Really bad experience, creaky floorboards meant we heard every footstep and movement the guests staying in room above made. Horrendous in the morning/late night. Breakfast waiter was rude to us / not attentive / food was actually alright, just needed more staff, and better ones! No cups by coffee station/ no cutlery...

Ok rooms need updating. Rooms 10 and 11 have a noisy extractor fan outside there windows which can run all night. Breakfast lovely and the lady receptionist was helpful and friendly.location was easy to find and close to town centre but far enough out to avoid the usual problems a town night life can cause. Hotel has the steam railway...

Stayed at the hotel for 5 days while working in the area. The room that I was given was the worst room I have ever stayed in . No door on the bathroom, cracked tiles on the floor, mini trunking hanging from cables going to the tv. Very old and tired should be ashamed to rent rooms like this out.
