Welcome to the Crown Hotel in Lockerbie. After taking over the Hotel at the end of February, we knew we had to do some internal refurbishments. We have now reopened the hotel as of 15th May. During the remaining refurbishment this will mean closing our bedrooms, however our bar and restaurant is now open to all our customers. We do have our main hotel also in Lockerbie The Townhead Hotel, (Winner of Channel 4 TV program "Four in a Bed") so please feel free to check us out on Tripadvisor. We look forward to welcoming you.

This is a long awaited meal!! We are lucky and glad to see The Crown Hotel, Lockerbie reopen after the lockdown. There’s been a few changes in how things are done but all to keep the customers & staff safe as possible. Thank you to the staff (all the team, bar & kitchen) for a great welcome back and a fabulous Carvery too, as always nothings too much trouble (as long as it’s with in the guidelines). Think Lynzee has been practising her Yorkie Puds (No they’re not Ant B”s they’re Lynzee’s) as a Yorkshireman I can honestly say they’re good Yorkie Puds!! I had the Broccoli & Stilton soup to start 🤤🤤 that was good to start then onto the Carvery I went!!! I’m now stuffed so think it’s time to have a sit down and relax do this lot can go down...... In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger “I’ll be back” for definite!! Thanks guys.......

Called in on a wet Monday with our dog after food had finished.I assume the restaurant which was shut,is to the side of the pub so we entered into a tiny bar area with a couple of locals propping up the bar. The guy behind the bar was welcoming and no problem with the dog. He went to see if they would make us a sandwich which they did and it was packed with lovely tasty ham with a pot of tea for two, water for the dog and a roaring fire. All for £6.60! The The staff were very friendly particularly to the pup. There did not appear to be any parking but we parked on the car park on the edge of the town and walked the couple of hundred yards. If passing through again would define call in.

Good pub food, nicely served in pleasant surroundings. There was a good selection of dishes and everyone enjoyed their meal, which was freshly cooked. The food was reasonably priced and the dining area was fine for families at the time we went (6.30). We intend to return.

Really pleasant evening, Emillie was really welcoming and made my visit enjoyable. Ideal if you want to spend a couple of hours in the company of friendly locals. Will come again next time I am in the town.
