Just been to the Cross Keys for Sunday lunch. Firstly the decor is very nice and a nice atmosphere. However, I had to wait ten minutes to get a drink at the bar, and I was the only one at the bar. The then clumsy barman spent 2 minutes trying to find a glass and then poured it into the...

Our host Liz was very friendly and helpful with local advice. The breakfast was excellent. The room was a bit worn but quiet and warm and the bed was comfortable. The hotel is centrally located, fronting onto the narrow one way high street, so on arrival grab the nearest available parking spot then ask Liz how to reach the hotel's...

I have been using the Cross Keys for regular breakfasts and business meetings since December 2015. I have never actually stayed over but my experience of the bar staff and help and assistance provided by the manager has been truly excellent. The staff here really do try to go the extra mile for their customers. In terms of the bar...

A friendly hotel with great staff snd a lovely breakfast. Rooms can vary, those outside are a little more private and are better if staying longer than the one night. A warm welcome and a fond farewell. Food and drinks offerings are decent too!

Stayed there this week for business as I usually do. The staff cannot do enough for you. Warm and welcoming and the Irish barman just adds to the welcome. The breakfast was great and a very good selection. The eggs royale is to die for. Looking forward to my next visit. Well done guys. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here for over 11 years and its recently been taken over and I am disappointed that standards are slipping. Very disorganised, I was given the wrong key for my room and my colleague was given the wrong key to access the hotel. We were unable to put our drinks on our tab and finally the breakfast,...

We were recommended this hotel by a friend in the lovely small town of Knutsford. It's perfectly situated in the town to enable you to park the car in its own car park and enjoy the lovely upmarket bars, bistros and restaurants and the wide range of very different shops. The hotel has lovely surrounding areas including the fabulous Tatton...

Stayed here in March 2016, unfortunately was very disappointed - Unmanned reception, have to ask at the bar to be let into the room, unable to provide change, room extremely dated, mouldy bathroom, shower useless. Definitely one to avoid.

Recently refurbished town centre pub. It's like a crèche. Less atmosphere than a dentists surgery. One of those refurbishments that turn an old style pub into a "meeting place" for families. Bright, light and soulless.

Reservation made on my behalf one week in advance of my arrival date. Fortunately for me my office as standard procedure checked reservation the day before arrival to be told it had not been done. OK then lets make a reservation for the date required and confirmed by hotel reception staff member. Job Done. Not quite, arrived on due date...
