I found this hotel to be excellent for my needs as part of a business trip, the staff were very polite and friendly, the facilities very good, and the food superb. The restaurant and bar area were of a particular high standard.

We ( a party of 10) despite arriving in the morning, were able to check into our rooms. While we waited, we had a lovely freshly cooked breakfast, served by welcoming staff. The food was excellent for all 4 breakfasts we had, and one dinner. The bar was well stocked, and all the staff we met were friendly and helpful....

Decided to have a 'child free' night here with my wife for a quiet meal. Could not fault the setting, service or food. Ended up having 3 courses and could hardly move afterwards. Great restaurant for families, groups or couples as it is well set out and doesn't feel like one big room.

The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful during our stay. Hotel Looks plain from the outside but rooms are clean, if small, and communal areas are nicely decorated. Bar well stocked especially if you like gin and whisky. Restaurant was ok but not that special for prices, however we did arrive late during the Monday of Up...

Lovely people, nice atmosphere, professional staff, good restaurant, sub-standard rooms. The hotel lies just a short walk from city center, Seaside rooms have a beautiful view. However, if windy those rooms can be quite noisy.

Resturant where I had some red wine, the wine tast sour.... so the...

Visited Shetland for a family reunion and had no expectations of the accomodation. It was blowing a gale and the hotel was a warm, cosy retreat. The staff were friendly and accomdating. The food was good ,solid islands fare - good portions and very tasty. The rooms were small but very cosy and comfortable. The bar lounge area was very...

My stay consisted of a one night stop over, selected principally for its location and bolstered by the reviews on TA on this hotel and others near by. I'd usually walk to a local restaurant but the distance to town is 15-20 walk, probably longer on the way home. Thus I opted to remain and dine within the hotel. From...

OK hotel. Better than it used to be. Good service. Rooms tidy but a bit small. This place has potential. Ugly on the outside. Better inside. Food delicious. Great views of bay from restaurant. Good wine list. Great menu.
