Found Kelson Lodge here on Trip Advisor and thought it was conveniently located to get an early flight from Edinburgh. Well, it definitely is, just off the M90, only about a 45 minutea drive to the airport-depending on the traffic of course. But it is also so close to the M90 that I had trouble falling asleep due to traffic... More

This was just an overnight stop for us on our way to the north west of Scotland and was perfect for our needs. Comfortable room - beautiful views towards Loch Leven and the castle - with spacious private bathroom. Very friendly and the breakfast was superb, using local produce where possible with free range eggs (always tastier, as well as... More

We were recently on vacation in Scotland and I had booked a room in this unheard of B&B, simply because it was close to Loch Leven. What I found when we got there was sooooo much more. This is the home of George and Liz, who have remodeled the upstairs into two lovely rooms. They only have the two rooms,... More

We stayed one night on our journey up to the highlands. The rooms are good furnished with two chairs and a small table. The breakfast with local products was delicious. Liz helped us to find a good restaurant for dinner and with some very helpful hints for our ongoing journey. Thank you very much! Ursina & Thomas

We stayed 1 night at Kelson Lodge as we were attending a wedding in Kinross. The location was beautiful with outstanding views across Loch Leven. We even had the views from our bedroom! Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and included tea and coffee making facilities, a private bathroom and bathrobes. It was very comfortable and homely. Liz and George provided... More

It was a pleasure to have you both at Kelson Lodge. We were delighted you also enjoyed the wedding at The Grouse & Claret. The Kinross area is becoming very popular as a wedding destination with several venues - we have guests this weekend at Tullibole Cadtle and Kinross House has also hosted a few this year. This is a gem of a place so close to Loch Leven. Liz and George are lovely hosts making us feel at home. Husband and I stopped 1 night the 26th August en route to Inverness from South Yorkshire. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean with a small sitting area to relax in. We had a view of the... More

George and Liz gave us a very warm welcome. Room was more than comfortable. There were plenty of little extra touches that made us feel that our custom was important. Fresh milk and high quality biscuits in our room. Breakfast was to die for.

Pulled into Kinross on the second leg of a long journey from South Wales to Aberdeenshire and uncovered an absolute gem of a b&b in Kelson Lodge on the outskirts of town.
