Detailed Reviews
We enjoyed out stay with Patsy very much. She was so kind and helpful. We had no problems with the shared bathroom. My husband and I don't worry about those types of things. I was not feeling well, and not able to eat much. Patsy was very concerned about this and made me some porridge for breakfast. Although I couldn't eat much, her caring and TLC helped me feel better! Her home is just beautiful. We too, loved her dog. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stopped by for one night with no reservation, having found the hotels in Kinross quite expensive. We were glad we found the Pascaig Guest House because it was lovely and comfortable with everything we needed and Patsy was delightful. The bathroom was shared but I feel the price took that into account. A good breakfast.

We had some hiccups getting the deposit to Patsy but she was understanding and gave us a reasonable extension to get it to her. She was a very nice woman and she gave us some tips and tricks for the area around Kinross. She was very helpful and very pleasant. Their dog is also AMAZING and very well-behaved.
I really enjoyed my bed but there were three of us so one of us ended up sleeping on the coach. There were no complaints for the couch but apparently the extra bed was a little bit wobbly.
The only thing I would recommend is to fix the seat on the toilet as it is broken and not fastened to the toilet so it is very awkward to use. Other than that, I fully recommend!

We booked a room here because of its proximity to a local event. The owners were very nice and accommodating, offered to book us tee times and use of their clubs for golf. They were always making suggestions about where to go and what to see. They have a wonderful dog who loves to be petted.
However, the house itself could use some improvements. The two biggest areas for improvement are the shared bathroom and WiFi. The shared bathroom is rife with toiletries from past guests and the WiFi does not reach inside the rooms on a cell phone or tablet.
All in all the hospitality is wonderful, breakfast is nice, and it's a place to sleep, but in order for it to get a higher rating the details need to be focused on.

Having stayed at this guest house, and several in the past. This is by far THE best!! The service we received from booking to vacating was impeccable. We stayed with our two small boys (5yr old and 2yr old) Our hostess Patsy was wonderful, played with our boys and just made the whole experience a delight! I cannot recommend a better place to stay......Book! Book! Book! We'll be back.

We stayed at the Pascaig Guest House with our daughter and her friend in the Family room, while another friend used the single room. We were there for the T in The Park weekend and are thankful we chose to stay here rather than camping due to the horrendous weather. The guest house is run by Patsy and Alan ward, and the service from booking almost a year in advance through to waving us off when we left was impeccable. You get all the great standards you expect from a quality guest house but it's the little things that make it special: it was my wife's birthday on the day we arrived and I arranged for some happy birthday banners to be sent up and Patsy put them out around the room (what a welcome), when our wellies were covered in mud after the Saturday night, Patsy washed them (yes washed them!!) so we left in style for our next day at the festival, sitting down and joining us for a cuppa over breakfast to tell us about the local area......we had a great weekend and it was made all the better by the hospitality of the world's greatest guest house hostess!!! The price was great with only a minor premium for the T in the Park weekend - great value!! Bus stop too and from the festival 20 metres away!! All in all - outstanding!!
