Had the pleasure of staying here for a week from 26 June 21. The owners are lovely, friendly and helpful. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. There is a games barn with pool, ping pong, darts and a large Connect 4. You can store bikes too. The tennis court was popular with us (even though I'm useless) lol.

We spent a lot of time, due to the weather being lovely, on the terrace by the babbling brook. Very nice!

The location makes it easy to get to other places but Milnathort and Kinross are very close. We cycled from the cottage around Loch Leven which was a very easy cycle of 17 miles. The Loch has plenty viewing stops on the way round.

All in all a wonderful week enjoyed by myself, husband and 11 yr old son.

Places visited: The Secret Bunker, The Deer Park, Laser Tag (Dundee), Perth (there is a water activities lake on the way in but needs booked well in advance.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday! (and of course the wine) 😃

We took a short break of 4 nights. There are 2 cottages (attached) which is an old mill conversion. The setting is rural and very peaceful. The cottage is furnished to a very high standard. The dinner service is Royal Doulton, the mugs Denby and the appliance are Smeg. Very well kitted out, they have thought of everything. The property also has microwave, washing machine and linen supplied. They have an iron as well. There was tea, coffee and milk for us on our arrival. A bottle of wine and fresh flowers as well! The kitchen is on the ground floor with bathroom and 2 bedrooms, one double the other bunk beds. The bathroom is of a good standard. Upstairs via a spiral staircase is the living/dining area, great views from here. There is TV, radio, Freeview and DVD player. There is a gas stove which looks like a woodburning stove. From the kitchen you access the patio with stream running by it. You have your own patio with barbeque. From here you have access to the gardens and tennis court. All gas and electricity is included in the price. Near by Milnathort (close to where they have T in the park) has a good local shop, bank and pub. Kinross is 2 miles away and has better shopping and more pubs and restaurants. The property although rural is very close to the motorway which takes you into Perth which is a lovely town. Plenty of things to see, we went to Scone Palace, St. Andrews and drove the coast road.
The owners live in the big house which is close but you have your privacy as there is a big barn between the cottages and the big house. The owners are excellent, they let us arrive early and stay on later as the cottage was empty the following day. If you are looking for a lovely, peaceful getaway in good quality accommation I would recommend this property. We felt refreshed after our stay and would return again.

We have stayed in this cottage and the hayloft cottage right next door for the past 3 years while attending T in The Park :-)........ The cottages are a very high spec and were everything we could have asked for. Owner extremely welcoming and very pleasant. Very disappointed that we have missed out on getting the cottages for next year, but we will be back again, without a doubt. This is an ideal location for such an event and also for a very peaceful break away with family. Highly recommended.

We arrived at Fochy Cottage on 13th June 2015 we weren't too sure what to expect but the information provided on the website was helpful enough so that we knew what to pack.
As we arrived at the cottage we were welcomed by the friendly and very helpful owners who talked us through everything regarding heating / water / the wi fi password ( in a place with little signal which I must admit was absolute bliss and made the perfect switch off from work it was also very handy having free wifi)
In the cottage was everything you would need that sometimes self catering accommodation does not provide such as towels even perks like board games, DVDS and a large selection of books.
The cottage was filled with fresh flowers, freshly laid eggs milk and coffee along with a newspaper oh and not forgetting a bottle of wine! Fortunately we picked all the kitchen essentials up on route but this was a lovely thought from the owners so that they were able to have a hot drink after a long journey to Kinross (well being from Newcastle it was for us)
The grounds itself keeps you well entertained from the tennis courts and darts board to sitting on the patio outside listening to the calming stream and watching the world go by. The cottage also has freeview TV and a DVD player so you couldn't still have a relaxing break without passing the front door.
The location of the cottage is very rural and so peaceful its lovely to sit outside and not hear any traffic making it a very peaceful break.
The cottage had 2 bedrooms 1 with a double bed the other with a bunk bed making it perfect for a family stay. The cottage is equipment with a washing machine / ironing board which is handy so that you don't take suitcases of dirty washing home.
The location is close to the motor way so that you can visit local areas such as Perth and St Andrews (recommend both) but considering you cant hear it you wouldn't think so!
We brought out bikes up so that we could explore the area and enjoyed a lovely bike ride around Loch Leven ( highly recommend also!) the owners were kind enough to allow us to store our bikes in their barn to keep them safe and dry.
The owners do live on the site therefore close enough if you have any questions / issues but to be honest we never had to bother them as literally everything we needed was here but it is a nice safety knowing they are close by.
We would certainly come back to Fochy Cottage again without a doubt the owners and cottage was absolutely perfect and made it the most peaceful and relaxing break to Kinross.

We have just visited Fochy cottage and had a lovely time. It was very clean, well equipped and the owners were lovely and friendly. Kids used the games room (which was in an old barn) and tennis court. So quiet and relaxing, beautiful inside and out with a small burn at the rear of the cottage with table and chairs which could be used for breakfast, if the weather was suitable. Would definitely visit again.
