Close to downtown and waterfront, also connection through the mall and tunnels to the World Trade and Convention Centre Halifax. Short walk to many tourist attractions. Comfortable bed and spacious room. The staff are very helpful.
A very awesome hotel with great prices, right downtown Halifax. Near the waterfront and other tourist sights. Very clean, very quiet, very friendly! Awesome bartender in the hotel bar! Highly recommend that you stay here!
The hotel is a short walk from all the main sites. You can walk on theatres or by using the "Pedway" which is a linked enclosed walkway to the harbour.

I had the lobster dinner which came to $40 including mussels, clam chowder and a rasberry pudding dessert. I believe wthe average entree is about twenty dollars. Add $15 for anything additional. My boyriend had fish tacos which he loved. Remember, the seafood restaurants that are " highly recommended " cost market price for a one and a quarter pound lobster - $32 when we were there, and $10 each additional half pound. If you can do without a view of the water, you will save a lot of money by eating lobster at the hotel. Restaurants in Halifax are all moderately priced compared to NYC.
