The Speyside Hotel is a tranquil, Country House style Hotel in the middle of Grantown-on-Spey. The Ghille bar, open from 4pm daily, boasts a wide range of Gin, Whisky, Spirits, Wine, and Soft Drinks. Our bright conservatory can be used for private functions and events. The elegant dining room serves breakfast daily, and also a bistro style dinner for residents. There is ample parking to the front of the property and a beer garden nestled at the rear. The hotel is a short walk from all local amenities, the famous river Spey, and is a short drive to the Cairngorm mountains.

We stayed here unexpectedly after our pooches became unwell & we needed the nearby vet. With little notice, we had a family room for 3 nights arranged at a very reasonable price. Mark could not have been more helpful. The room was spacious, with great value from the extra single bed and sofa bed. The large bright bathroom was perfect for us. The value for money plus top notch service are clearly the priorities at the hotel. We felt so welcome and greatly appreciated all the extra assistance of an early check in and late check out plus help with dogs, pram and dinners. I'm sure when the restaurant opens it will be fantastic as breakfast was terrific. We'd love to come back under better circumstances and enjoy the lovely sights around this lovely hotel. Thank you for going above & beyond for us.…

What a find, location just off main road, no road noise, lovely room, huge. This is my 6th hotel on the Scottish trip and can honestly say, so far the best evening meal for variety (different than fish & chips) …. And value. Keep up the good work, I hope you make a success of it and IF I return to the area, I WILL book again Lucy and Mark well done

Lovely hotel in the heart of Speyside. Stayed here during the whiskey festival 2022. Large room with comfortable beds and a real bathroom. Good food and nice bar. Very friendly owners and serviceminded staff. Recomended! //Anders (Team Sweden)

We had a wonderful time at this establishment during the Speyside festival. Mark is a warm, welcoming host that always keeps the bar open. Nice rooms and a helpful staff as well. There should be more Craigellachie whisky in the bar thou Björn and Team Sweden
