14 of us stayed here while doing a cycling/kayaking trip on the River Spey.If we had stayed at a youth hostel taking into account membership/cost per night breakfast and going out for an evening meal it would be no cheaper than here. Excellent value, nice clean en suite rooms big warm socil rooms with open fire.Staff very nice with nice...

We were given a lovely room at the hotel and this was a beautiful property in our opinion for what it is. Its an old style Scottish hotel so you could call it old fashioned but this was mainly in a really charming way, so not a negative. Just the bathroom could have done with an update but other that...

Had a nice stay at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were brilliant and so attentive, always friendly - true service with a smile. The room was clean and did the job, bed a little too firm but still managed a good night sleep. The shower was a little too small so a bit uncomfortable, also not a very...

We've been here on a spring roadtrip. The exterior of the hotel is beautiful, as is the location. The room was somewhat quirky, but everything was there and working. We both slept like oxes. The service by the staff was fine. The restaurant we avoided after trying it for dinner and breakfast. It's not expensive and it shows. It's mediocre...

Had a very enjoyable stay at the Craiglynne Hotel with our two dogs. Breakfast was very good, great selection, cereals, fruit juice etc were self service but the cooked food was all served. Dinner in the evening , great choice and well served.. will be back later in the year.

We stayed on a deal, with the dog, so I wouldn't expect the best room. It was located on the ground floor by an exit so that was ideal. The Reception staff were absolutely lovely and the dog greeting mat and bowl were a very nice touch. The room was a good size but the "en suite" was a bit...

Stayed at this joke of an hotel for 4 nights last year! Made any Salvation Army Hostel look positively palatial! This place is an insult to the term 'hotel'. This place should be demolished. Better buy a tent and camp out. Room dirty. Tv antique with poor reception. Sink and shower blocked. Furniture decrepit. Food abyssmal! The hotel inspector ought to visit...

The hotel requires a full refurbishment inside and out. Linen was hard and washed out, bed was uncomfortable, shower button was broken. TV reception was terrible. Food - tasteless! First visit to a Crerar hotel and the last! Apologies by the duty manager were excuses for a terrible hotel!

All staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The twin room was clean, nicely decorated and warm. The beds were comfortable. The Lounge was bright and welcoming, with log fires ready to be lit if necessary (not required during our stay as the weather was good). We booked in for dinner and breakfast. The breakfast menu was very good, catering for all tastes...
