We stayed in April at Easter time and the hotel was lovely and bright with a very spacious seating area in the reception as you arrive. All staff were very friendly and helpful from reception through to the bar and into the restaurant. Our room was nice, ground floor with a lovely bay window looking out to the front garden....

A pleasant 3 night break during a recent tour of the Cairngorms. Room was rather dated and had a strange layout, sink in corner of room, shower and wc stuck in the corner and concealed with a sliding door! Took one evening meal which we found to be satisfactory. There was a good choice for breakfast although on one occasion...

The room was clean but basic, it was a strange configuration with the handbasin being outside the bathroom! There was a reasonable choice of food on the menu but the quality was poor (it wasn't plentiful either!). If I was in the area again I would look to stay somewhere else - such a shame really because I use other...

Pleasant 2 night stay over the May Holiday weekend. Friendly reception staff who always made time for a quick conversation. Room 231 - small and badly laid out, dressing table so close to bed that you couldn't get a chair in beside it, the tv (old analogue style) was on the end of the dressing table and stuck over edge...

I will start my review by apologising for not saying anything when checking out this morning, I accept I should have done but, as there were several people behind me, it appeared that the receptionist was going to be busy, so rather than detain her I said nothing, now my review (1) the hotel, on first impressions it looked very...

Currently offering a Super Deal with DBB for two nights at £69 pp. The food was superb and staff were polite and attentive. Room was large enough to accommodate our Lab Alfie. Thanks and Kind...

We were given a lovely room at the hotel and this was a beautiful property in our opinion for what it is. Its an old style Scottish hotel so you could call it old fashioned but this was mainly in a really charming way, so not a negative. Just the bathroom could have done with an update but other that...

Had a nice stay at this hotel for 3 nights. The staff were brilliant and so attentive, always friendly - true service with a smile. The room was clean and did the job, bed a little too firm but still managed a good night sleep. The shower was a little too small so a bit uncomfortable, also not a very...
