Excellent bed and breakfast. Comfortable lounge and great hosts. A great place to relax or walk in wonderful scenery. The town has good restaurants and a great place for hikers, anglers and for exploring the countryside. Facilities here to make a snack or picnic.

We found the accommodation excellent. The facilities are of an exceptionally high standard. Dougie and Claire were magnificent hosts with loads of useful local knowledge. Easy to find location in Grantown and if your keen on walking there are plenty of walks from their front door. I would make this my first choice for staying in Scotland.

After arriving in town late in the evening and our other accommodation falling through we were welcomed into Claire's lovely abode. After being booked in to the lovely rooms and chatting to Claire we were glad our other accommodation had fallen through! The breakfast the next morning was excellent with all local produce. Would totally recommend .

What a fantastic find in the Highlands. The room was clean and comfortable and we slept very well. Easy access to the town! And delicious breakfast each morning. But best of all, Claire was a wonderful host! She knows the area well and was eager to give advice on places to go and things to see and do. The morning...

We were at Tulach Ard House for the second time and it was just wonderful and like coming home! A warm welcome from Claire and Douglas, nice room, great breakfast. We will certainly return as apart from this nice accommodation, there is much to see in the region. Thank you, Claire and Douglas

Stayed here on 31st July/1st August. Rooms were big with everything you need, the shared living space was perfect for us as my daughter and son-in-law also had their 4 month old baby with them and having a kitchen and living room made things so much easier. The house is spotless, in a great location, breakfast was perfect and Claire...

This is one of the best B&B`s we have stayed in. The building is new and is more like a stay at home. The ground floor is open plan with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. The seating is very comfortable and no need to spend time in your room. We were encouraged to make full use of the facilities...

A lovely purpose built B&B with 3 nicely appointed rooms and a shared living space for guests to enjoy the hearty breakfast or relax for a cup of coffee. Friendly & helpful owners who are happy to offer advice.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Quite magnificent find in Speyside! The accommodation was brilliant, clean and beautifully appointed. Three rooms with a lounge/diner and large kitchen satisfied the six of us beyond our expectations. Just like a small self contained house. Our hostess, Claire, was just superb and breakfast, including haggis, was not for the fait hearted, making lunch unnecessary! Her local knowledge was impressive and we really felt that we mattered. Top marks all the way. Hi, I'm Claire Mackenzie, owner of Tulach Ard House, Bed and Breakfast in delightful Grantown On Spey. I look forward to meeting you. ... more   less
