What a lovely stay! This charming, cozy retreat was one of the best experiences we’ve had in our several journey’s to the highlands. Isla made us feel so welcome and she’s such a great cook, we didn’t want to leave. It was a wonderful place to unwind with a wee dram by the blazing fire in the parlor. We would definitely love to return someday!

I've written a lot of B&B reviews before but I have never been so impressed than I have just been by the Strathallan B&B in Grantown on Spey. The beds and breakfasts were great of course, but it was all the little details that made it so super. Isla is delightful and she has done a superb job in making the Strathallan such a wonderful place to stay.

Stayed here for an all too short night. The room was perfect, spotless, comfy bed, coffee machine, interesting picture within! Breakfast was also excellent, best porridge I have ever tasted, surely the Golden Spurtle awaits… Owner was very helpful and chatty. Overall I wouldn’t stay anywhere else if back in the area. Thanks

Oooo, I might put myself down for the Golden Spurtle, but I might need a few drinks before to calm my nerves! You were great fun and thank you for being so kind about myself and Strathallan. Come back and stay for a long break, you deserve it. (Keep in touch and let me know how your porridge making is going) Thank you again! Isla
