We stayed here for 3 nights with our wee boy and dog. We had a great time and found the hotel to be all we needed. The staff there are really lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great - option of cooked breakfast, eggs on toast, cereal or toast with coffee, tea and fruit juice. The staff were also happy to cater for our wee boy when he wanted some cheese! :) The hotel does need updating and not all the pillows were super comfy (I'm sure if we had mentioned this though, the staff would have probably substituted them). We also had an issue with one of the mattresses being broken but they swapped us into a new room with no problems at all. The WiFi worked great and we found there were plenty of good dinner options around. For an affordable hotel in a fantastic location, good food, perfectly fine rooms and wonderful staff, it's absolutely worth the money spent. A little rough around the edges in places, but we would definitely visit again. Thanks for a lovely stay. :)

This hotel was a surprise find. Don't judge a book by it's cover comes to mind. The rooms are nicely sized, very clean, beds comfortable, great heating, fabulous showers (hot and strong, did not want to get out), large towels (which in this day and age you just don't get) and delicious breakfast. Ann was super friendly and helpful and a fantastic host. I highly recommend this hotel for an affordable great stay. We will definitely be visiting again.

I hate leaving bad reviews and going for a 3-star hotel you don't expect much but we had the worst experience. We were given a room that hadn't been cleaned at all. Bed a mess, trashcan full. When we told reception, we got no apology, decided to go elsewhere and were denied a refund. The double bed was two singles pushed together and you could hear everything happening in the next room. To top it off, the manager was incredibly rude. If you can afford it, I'd suggest going elsewhere. Great location though !

We stayed at the hotel recently. It was clean and comfortable. Room was hot and only one window opened although restricted. When traffic started in the morning it was definitely time to get up. Breakfast was nice and served by a very friendly lady. We returned to hotel for evening meal to find restaurant was closed which was a bit disappointing.
