Friendly staff, and the food is excellent - with a good range of vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options (good value for money too) . And dog friendly. Finding the hotel car park for the first time is a bit tricky as it's round the back, accessed from another road, though there is restricted street parking at the front too.

The hotel is located on the main street and we had a good sized room with everything we needed. There is a nice bar with a rreal fire and good range of beers. The food menu is fairly extensive and good value. Breakfast was made to order and was delicious, again with a good choice. Staff were all friendly and helpful. We will stay again.

The hotel and staff were just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Spacious, clean, modern room. Right on high Street but very little, if any, noise. Fantastic bar serving amazing burgers and some of the best pies I've ever tasted. Log burner made it really cosy. Dog friendly in rooms and all public areas which was a massive plus point for our little 7 month old Honey the Maltipoo. One of the best showers I've experienced in a hotel ever! Thank you, Gary, Sandy, Anne, Alan and all the other staff and family that made us feel so welcome and our Christmas one of the best ever. Hope and look forward to seeing you all again very, very soon. Phil, Tracey & Honey.

Quiet and low-key, which was just perfect for what I wanted. Unlike many British hotel rooms, this one was spacious enough for the furniture in it. I didn't take breakfast so caan't comment on that...

Wonderful hotel, great bar and the sisters running the place are complete gems. Will visit again. Simply a great time. Couldn't recommend more. Simply put for value for money you won't find a better hotel. The other guests were great too!

We’ve stayed here 2 years ago and loved it. Once again, we were not disappointed. The room (19) was a huge clean and tidy double, some distance from the main bar area, which made it quite. Hot shower, wifi provided when our signal didn’t work inside the thick walls of the hotel. The hotel is not new so don’t expect a new hotel look. The dog friendly bar had burgers and a pint for £8. A number of locals having a brew here too. Friendly, chatty staff made us feel welcome. We overheard other travellers saying breakfast was good value but we were off before breakfast was being served so we couldn’t try it. A very pleasant experience and highly recommended.

Lovely little hotel where the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Even the young Orcadians who were there at the time. The single beds are small but then they are single beds, not something I've used for a fair while. The breakfasts were very filling and tasty and the linked Thai Restaurant was basic but good food for such a small hotel. Definitely worth a stay.

Spent 2 days at the hotel, it has good basic clean accommodation, with great machine coffee in the foyer. It was good value for money, and would definitely be back next time we visit the Cairngorm area.

Low key and casual hotel. Hard working and nice women who run and manage it. Room was clean and appeared to have been updated compared to older common areas. Nice breakfast made to order. Easy parking and check in/out process. Walkable to small local restaurants.
