The Inn accommodation is in 3 ground floor rooms plus an additional room upstairs, all in a separate building opposite the Inn. On arrival we were given our keys, but surprisingly were left to find our rooms. We were in room 3 which was clean, warm and comfortable. We did get some noise from the occupants of room 4 above,...

Very comfortable, warm and spotlessly clean. Only stayed overnight but the staff could not have been more friendly and professional. Breakfast tray delivered to my room the night before to enable an early start. Stayed in a large room in converted building outside, very warm and with an internal shower room.

We have stayed here before which is why we've returned. We had previously stayed in Room 2 this time room 1. This room is damp with damp patches clearly showing in the bathroom where the shower head was covered in black mildew. The room itself was cobwebbed and had a slug climbing the wall along with a few wood lice...

Fancied a random night away that was dog friendly in accommodation and the restaurant and found this pub in this little village. Room - one of only four rooms, cosy decorated, exposed brickwork looks great, clean and overall completely ideal. Bit of noise from guests walking up and down stairs to the upstairs room but not long enough to bother...

During a trip back to the UK (we now live in Philadelphia), we toured the UK to really see some English Countryside and, as part of the journey, stayed for two nights in the converted stable accommodation at This Great Gastro Pub. The accommodation was superb as the rooms seemed to be recently refurbished and the food & service at...

We stayed at Chequers over this past weekend and I have to say it was brilliant, both as a bed and breakfast and a wedding venue. Room was spacious and well equipped, bathroom could have been bigger but the amount of time we spent in there this is easy to forgive. Breakfast was my biggest issue, first day was brilliant,...

Our welcome and check-in was very warm and efficient. We were personally shown to our lovely and comfortable room, which had a huge bed! The choice of food was excellent and quality and presentation perfect. Breakfast was delicious with a huge choice of freshly prepared dishes and an endless supply of tea & coffee in beautiful cups. Most importantly, we...

The pub has an excellent offer for a Sunday night. Have a 3 course meal on Sunday night and stay overnight for only £20 per double room including breakfast on the Monday morning. Stayed over with some friends and had a really good evening. The staff very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and the rooms are clean, comfortable...

Arrived to stay overnight, got shown to a room outside, door opened By staff who then left us. No explanation about breakfast or dining on the evening. The room was freezing. Stayed 10 minutes and decided to leave. My wife suffers with arthritis and could not cope with the cold room and low standards. I complained and said we would...
