Friendly and hospitable Bed and Breakfast on the coast near Grange over Sands. Very good food, nice sized clean rooms, wifi, TV etc. I stayed with my daughter in a nice big double room. Ideally placed for the Lake District, especially the southern and central fells. Reasonably priced, with good choices for breakfasts, and a fantastic Cumbrian fry up if...

This is the best Bed and Breakfast in the whole of Cumbria. The welcome you are given is amazing. The rooms are absolutely fantastic, en suite and free coffee and tea etc. The breakfasts are absolutely huge, healthy if you wish as well and are served according to ones diets needs etc. There are several rooms to use and there...

I stayed whilst cycling the Bay cycleway, I was able to check in early which helped me get ready for my ride. The pub was only 5 minutes walk way with good food and beer whilst the the twin room I was sleeping in was comfy and quiet so woke refreshed and with a hearty breakfast was ready for a...

Hazel & Hanson are very welcoming hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Home baked scones and cakes on arrival Friday evening. Very clean, spacious bedroom. Spoilt for choice at breakfast. Perfect base if you're going to Cartmel Races. Great customer service and excellent value for money. A little gem and we'll be back next year.

Like the previous two reviewers, we were here for the Cross Bay half-marathon challenge and because of a very early start, we had anticipated creeping quietly out of the premises next morning, having had a makeshift bite to eat in our room. Hazel was having none of it, and insisted that breakfast at 5.45 am was the order of the...

Hazel and Hanson were the perfect hosts at a lovely B&B. Tea and home made cakes on arrival and our super-early breakfast was way beyond the call of duty and set us up well for running across Morecambe Bay. Many thanks and I'm sure we'll be back.

We were welcomed with cakes and tea and friendly banter. Room was homely, but Hazel and Hanson went above the call of duty when they got up at 5 a.m. to make us cooked breakfast! We had an early start for a local running race. Never experienced this level of looking after your customers before. Excellent.

We stayed, at the Rusland B&B the last weekend in July 2016. On arrival we were met by Hazel and Hanson who welcomed us like family. We were offered tea and cake before being shown the family room upstairs. The room was immaculate and spacious enough for our family of four. Alongside the room was a lounge, kitchen and bathroom....
