We arrive early afternoon and were welcomed by Lee who took us straight to our room (No 7) with no tiresome paperwork to worry about. The room was clean & spacious and would sleep up to 4. There was plenty of tea, coffee and milk, and all the rooms have a hair dryer. We had a great view over the...

Pretty average menu with pretty average food. Ordered a starter to share between four people which was good but could have easily have fed a family of ten. Then we all had mains, unfortunately again it was pulled up and the food was just average pub food. Not bad but not amazing.

Three of us stayed at The Galleon for a n9ght during a weeks cycling tour of Cornwall. The reception was very friendly and helpful and we were given a very nice room with a double bed, a large single and a large 'Put You Up' bed. This was just what we wanted and the room was ideal with plenty of...

Superb location in central Fowey make the Galleon a great place to stay. The rooms are next door to the pub so nice and private. English breakfast was huge and quality produce. I had kippers one morning which again were huge and fresh. The only problem when you stay in Fowey is the parking but there is a 24 hour...

The Galleon is a great place to stay. Well situated in the heart of Fowey and a short walk to the Polruan ferry. The room was spotlessly clean, with a fantastic view of the river. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was fantastic (courtesy of Vicky). We have been many times to the Galleon, and...

We stayed in the last weekend of January 2016 in what is becoming an annual event. We booked the large room at the top of the house again overlooking the river. Great band downstairs on the Friday night and a very chilled Sunday lunch with live music. Very welcoming and huge breakfasts on offer! Already booked for 2017.

Recently stayed here for one night. Great location right on the river although limited parking in immediate vicinity so may require a 10 min walk. You can drive up to the building to drop bags off or guests unable to walk too far. The communal area is a modern and popular bar so although busy on a Sunday afternoon in...

My boyfriend and I just checked out of this B&B this morning - lovely little place for a few nights stay! The check in experience was quick and simple, and the gentleman was lovely. The bed was super comfy and the room was spotlessly clean! Breakfast was superb, the quality of the food was much better than I expected from...

Ate here and the food was very very good. Huge portions, great prices, very quick service & cooked just as it should be. Friendly staff, locals were singing along like only the cornish folk seem to do, had an enjoyable couple of hours in here & will go back on my next visit.
