The hotel and surroundings are lovely and my room was very clean and comfy. We held a 2-day conference at the hotel and the meeting rooms were light and spacious and catered to all our needs. All staff are helpful & friendly.

Hotel room and leisure facilities excellent. Staff very pleasant. Restaurant and food not as good as 3 years ago. Restaurant gave you the impression it closed earlier than advised in the literature. Catering more for business people. Food luke warm Needs improving before I brought a party back again.

Lovely hotel, fabulous location. Had buffet which we were a bit wary about, but fears allayed when we tasted the great variety on offer. Very good quality and worth every penny. We used the Spa facilities too which were wonderful. Staff very helpful and always with a smile! We will be going back.

The Leftbank restaurant does the best Sunday lunch for miles.Its a buffet with the biggest choice of quality food you have ever seen and I know that if your kids just want pizza they will do that as well if you ask (dont tell them I told you!) Its so good that we recently had our wedding reception here and it didn't dissapoint! Surroundings are superb, being next to the Thames. Prices for the buffet are very reasonable bearing in mind you eat as much as you want and the leftbank buffet is also open some evenings for dinner. Having stayed for our wedding night I can confirm that the rooms are slightly dated and need a refresh, but are still incredibly clean and tidy. Sadly the refresh wont happen as this hotel has been bought from private ownership by Warners who very soon will refurb and rebrand it as one of there own. I here no more Leftbank and no more walk-ins as it becomes a pre-booked adults only Warners. what a great loss to the area! VISIT THE LEFTBANK BUFFET WHILST YOU STILL CAN!…

We had a lovely overnight stay here. Room was great: very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed our buffet style evening meal at the Left Bank. Such an amazing amount of choice and so relaxing. Breakfast was delicious. The lounge area is comfortable, with plenty of unobtrusive staff when you want to order. Our only gripe was with the Wi-Fi which was poor. But don’t left that put you off a stay here. We’ve been here before and we will be back!

Don’t let the Dog friendly tag fool you with this hotel. We needed to be in the area with a meeting at this hotel, so naturally thought we would stay here. Well how wrong we were, I booked a room on booking.com but thought I’d call to check details….it was at this point we were told the room was not dog friendly and the rooms that were, were £200 more than the room I’d booked…..avoid this hotel totally!!! better to go the the de vere Beaumont up the road if you have a 4 legged friend….. knocks spots of this over priced hotel

Thank you for your review of the Runnymede on Thames although I am saddened to see a 1 star review due to you not being able to book a standard room with your dog. We have a variety of rooms at different rates of which the duplex rooms, which are much larger attract a higher price. The hotel website, clearly states that we have three duplexes suitable for dogs which are a different cost to the smallest bedrooms and we do provide additional features for our four legged friends. The terms and conditions of the dog friendly rooms are also clearly advertised on the website and this explains the policy in full. I am sorry if you did not see any these but as you did not stay at the Runnymede I do think the one star review is un-justified as you did not experience the offering. Fabulous Hotel to explore Windsor. Rooms are tasteful and comfortable and the hotel has lots of space around a fire put overlooking The Thames. The food is delicious and very well presented. The staff are all sensational - really welcoming you can tell they have each been trained to give exceptional service. My husband just mentioned it was our anniversary and whilst we were using the lovely spa facilities a card and chocolates was placed in our room - this was a lovely touch and shows the staff pay attention to details. I would DEFINITELY stay there again it was an amazing hotel.

A great hotel, with very good overnight spa packages. Particularly like the breakfast and evening buffet, with an amazing selection of food. The spa is a good facility, but feel that the massage options are rather expensive. the lounge / bar is spacious and attractive and very relaxing ambiance.

We were given a voucher for afternoon tea for our birthdays. What a treat it was….. from the pretty crockery and crisp table linen to the fresh sandwiches, fluffy scones and pretty delicious cakes. The staff were helpful and friendly, a special mention for Harvey who gave us wonderful service, thank you. We will return.
