What a lovely stay in a double bedded room on the second floor. Room 220! Very clean and tidy, quiet and sleek. For £40.99 on a weekend and booked 5/6 days ago, there seems to be plenty of availability and at a very good price. The beds are very comfy, a small desk and chair in the room and a long full length mirror on the wall. Plenty of plug sockets and a tea/coffee station for your use for free! The radiator on the wall is powerful so you won’t get cold at all. The view from the window is ok too so can’t complain. There is breakfast for an additional charge of £5.95 which is a packet of cereal and and orange juice but if that does not sound to interesting then you have the high street less than 30 seconds away from the front door to the hotel entrance. The hotel is attached to a Waitrose and a high street that has other types of shops like Boots, Superdrug, plenty of restaurants and a couple of bars and a subway sandwich place for something easy. There is also a Tesco too! I did not drive here but parking does not seem to be a problem. I did get the train which is a ten minute walk which is very convenient and has a direct link into London!
There is no bar which is not a massive issue considering the high street and the WiFi is good value at £3 for 24 hours! For the price, the standard and the convenience, I am very happy with my stay and would defo recommend this particular Travelodge. The staff seem friendly as well so no complaints here!

Good central facility, clean tidy, well maintained. Staff helpful and polite.
However at times during night found room too cold. Unable to amend temperature of room.
Despite being under the Heathrow flight path the facility was quiet and unaffected by external noise.

Had mistakenly booked the wrong night to stay in Travelodge Chertsey. On arrival (late, 7.30 ish) there was informed that hotel was fully booked. Credit to the person on reception there who helped me book that night at Travelodge Egham.

Got there, after 8, and the excellent receptionist not only did the “usual” book in, room, brought an iron and ironing board, but (as I have never been to Egham) gave an excellent overview of where best to eat/drink at that time.

Room was clean and as I left (very early) in the morning another member of staff (possibly management level) was very polite and to make sure I had enjoyed my stay - response was was very much so.

Thoroughly recommend as good quality and very economic price.

The room was unbearably hot and stuffy. A fan is provided that does little to nothing. The window opens a fraction but on to a busy noisy road.
The room was not as clean as it could have been - dust build ups on thresholds and around carpet edges and there was just a general feeling that it wasn't as hygienically clean as you would want it to be. Crumbs on the remote control and no evidence of sanitization.
I left with my children after having very little sleep in the very early hours and we all had headaches and sore throats. The children slept uncovered in just underwear and were still sweating and this wasn't even in the heatwave! At least children can sleep anywhere.....
The family rooms appear to all be positioned at the front of the hotel, meaning lots of guest noise in to the early hours to add to the already impossible sleeping conditions.
A most unpleasant experience that has put me off booking with Travelodge ever again. The staff were aware of the issues but could do nothing more than apologise.

Arrived to find no duvet on the bed , reception said that it was because rooms so hot that they don’t put duvet on bed but leave it in a bag if you need it. It wasn’t that warm that night so got the duvet out of the bag which was very crumpled. No tea and coffee in the room and the shower room needs a really good clean . Parking also very expensive £8.50 from 6 in the evening to 8 in the morning. Won’t stay again. Disappointing for a travelodge.

Stayed here last night.

Was in room 201. Toilet was not clean ... skid marks on bowl... Window covered in bird poo. The real issue was the heat. No air conditioning. 1 fan in room to circulate the hot air. Was so bad that at 10pm we decided to leave as kids were feeling sick with head aches and dizziness. I was feeling very uncomfortable and a bit unwell too. Kids asked if they could sleep in the car it was horrible. The reception had given us another van but that didn't help. The glass in the outside photo of the travelodge that u see makes that part like a greenhouse. The lady at reception was fo nice. Really polite and gave us room on first floor with some water and another fan. We put up with this but at 6am are awake and feeling unwell. Potentially think some sort of heat exhaustion.

Today its going to be even hotter. I feel really sorry for the poor people that need to stay here tonight and would be worried for our safety is we stayed in that room again.

We stayed in Bury St Edmunds Travelodge the previous night and that was five star. At Egham the receptionist was 5 star...everything else was poor. We stay in travelodge on holiday regularly and this one gives me concerns and I think damages my perception of booking a cheap basic room that is good. I can't stress enough..that in hot weather. This is so bad. Other guests were also wandering around top less and sweating. Travelodge need to invest in this hotel.

Will not be returning here in summer ever again.

The Travelodge in Egham is in an excellent location in the town centre of Egham, immediately next to the bus stops for Staines and Windsor, and five minutes walk from the train station, with a direct service to London. Taxis can also be picked up from the shopping centre car park outside.
The town has pubs, restaurants, cafes and take-aways and also a few supermarkets.
For some culture Runnymede is literally five minutes away, and it is only a little further to Windsor Great Park.
For fun and thrills Thorpe Park and Legoland are a short drive or taxi drive away.
The hotel itself is clean and tidy, and the rooms are spacious. The beds offer a comfy night's sleep. We have used The accessible rooms, as my Mum needs a wheel chair occasionally, and they are excellent.
The staff are extraordinarily helpful, and always willing to help you with your check-in, offer information, and generally go that extra mile.
Ayisha and her team are always friendly and smiley, and give us a warm welcome.
We really look forward to stays there, of which we have had several.

I wanted a cheap overnight stay in Egham. Travelodge provided that but with facilities you would expect to pay far more to have. Clean and fresh room with friendly professional staff providing everything you need at a budget price but not with budget facilities. There’s no restaurant but you can get a breakfast box containing fruit juice, cereal and muffin to eat in your room in the comfortable seating provided. Couldn’t fault what I had

Very regular guest here at Egham Travelodge.
I always have very good stay here , staffs are very friendly and helpful. Minu at reception is exceptionally very helpful and very good customer service. My room is very clean and staff provide me anything I need , we can get hair dryer and ironing board also at reception when we need . Parking facility is available at basement of the building which belongs to council and it's pay as you go , it's safe car park.
Hotel is just near the town centre and it's so handy for shopping . Very close from train station too. Thank you for nice customer service.

The hotel is basic and is fine if you just need a place to sleep and nothing else. The rooms are pretty clean, the beds are fairly comfortable. There's a grocery store in the same building, and the main street is very close by. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel, where you can catch a bus to Heathrow for 2 pounds.

I had to change rooms due to plumbing issues -- the toilet didn't flush properly and the shower didn't drain. My second room was a lot better. I recommend requesting a room on the second floor. The soundproofing in the hotel is awful. Before switching rooms, I was woken up early in the morning by heavy footsteps overhead and hallway noise.

I was in Egham to visit a friend, so I spent most of my time away from my hotel room. It's not the kind of place I would have liked to linger in. Functional, but not completely comfortable.

Hi. The best place to ask is the hotel itself. From what I recall, there were no access restrictions. But my mere 3am return falls in the shadow of your possible 6am. Party, enjoy and be safe.

Staying in Egham but meeting friends in the evening in Staines, is it possible to walk between the two?

personally i wouldn't as there's big roundabouts by m25 and fast traffic on dual carriageway. it's only 1 stop up on train though.

Hi - sorry, we have never had the need for a Travel Cot - suggest you give the Hotel a ring? - they will probably have one available and by speaking to them direct you can make sure that it is available for you. Hope this helps Deryck

So very sorry only just seen your question. Hopefully you will have already visited by now??? The car park is accessible 24/7 and I didn't find it to scary/uninviting as it is well lit.
