We called to have meal Thursday evening. We found unfreindly staff and very poor service. They showed us to a corner table and never came back!!! We had to ask to take our order for meal, drinks, sweet and then had to chase them to pay the bill!!! Food was OK but the Thai curry was very very green!! Not... More

We went here today , seven of us for a Sunday lunch. It's a lovely place with a nice feel to it , quite traditional but yet modern at the same time. We ordered lamb , beef and chicken roasts with all the trimmings, starters too , mozzarella and other starters , the food was superb with generous portions, couldn't... More

I met an old friend for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The starters were fine and the main courses were OK although my risotto was a little stodgy. However the service was poor, we were given the dessert menu but nobody asked us if we wanted anything from it for over 30 minutes so we just paid up and left.... More

The attitude of the manger when we had a small issue was extremely disappointing. When we spoke to one of the waiters he said we would have to speak to the manger but the manger avoided us. When he did come to the table to take our payment and we tried to talk to him he ignored us. When asked... More

Popped in here not expecting to get a table at the last minute but we did and were pleasantly surprised. Brilliant set menu if you wish which is two courses for £12 or three for £16. I had lovely tomatoe and red pepper soup followed by chicken Thai green curry. Delicious. Service excellent and really good value. Will certainly be... More

We went here for my wife's birthday for a meal having previously been on my own On both occasions the food has been excellent. The service is not rushed but by no means slow and the quality is excellent. There is a good range on the menu and we will be coming back for sure.

We went for dinner on my daughters 26th birthday. We had booked a table for 9.00pm and the manager made us feel very welcome. He gave advice on the beers and let us try some ample ales before showing us to our table. He came over and gave advice on the food available and generally looked after us. Good old... More

We visited on a Sunday evening, place was quiet but service was slow - took ages to take drinks order and even longer to take food order. Waitress spilled a drink on me without even a hint of an apology. The food rescues this from a 1 or 2 star experience. Delicious succulent beef and lots of it. Lush yorkie... More

Stayed here for one night before attending a wedding nearby. Staff very friendly, welcoming and knowledgable about the area. Four of us stayed and we had three large double rooms which were very clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities in the rooms along with shampoo bath gel etc. We had a meal on the afternoon and also breakfast the food... Could not fault the food or the service at lunchtime. Fresh and innovative and beautifully presented. Good selection on the lunchtime menu at reasonable price considering the quality of the food. Excellent seafood sharing platter as starter.
