Me, my partner and daughter went on a drive to look for a nice friendly pub to eat in after a lovely day out! As we walk in fine, get seated to the table round to the "restaurant" bit in the corner and get offered drinks, all ok get drinks and ask if we can have our order taken as...

This is a really nice destination in a pleasant village setting, It is also residential. A group of us enjoyed a nice two course meal from the set menu, with a drink coming out at £17 per head, very good value. All the food was well presented and nicely cooked. Absolutely no complaints and very enjoyable. Other diners appeared to...

good customer service good menu, a bit different but good. 12 of us for a 50th birthday. Worth the visit, will return one day. Easy to find with a large car park. They have rooms as well. Need to book in advance they seem very busy. Enjoy

The Crown and Sandys is a popular pub at lunchtimes, and I have eaten there maybe half-a-dozen times in the last year. Usually food is Ok and service polite, timely and friendly. Today was different. Service was disinterested, haphazard and slow. No-one seemed in charge. No-one was keeping an eye on tables to see who had finished, or who might...

We had to ask to take our order for meal, drinks, sweet and then had to chase them to pay the bill!!! Food was OK but the Thai curry was very very green!! Not...

We ordered lamb , beef and chicken roasts with all the trimmings, starters too , mozzarella and other starters , the food was superb with generous portions, couldn't...

I met an old friend for dinner on a Tuesday evening. The starters were fine and the main courses were OK although my risotto was a little stodgy. However the service was poor, we were given the dessert menu but nobody asked us if we wanted anything from it for over 30 minutes so we just paid up and left....

The attitude of the manger when we had a small issue was extremely disappointing. When we spoke to one of the waiters he said we would have to speak to the manger but the manger avoided us. When he did come to the table to take our payment and we tried to talk to him he ignored us. When asked...

Popped in here not expecting to get a table at the last minute but we did and were pleasantly surprised. Brilliant set menu if you wish which is two courses for £12 or three for £16. I had lovely tomatoe and red pepper soup followed by chicken Thai green curry. Delicious. Service excellent and really good value. Will certainly be...

We went here for my wife's birthday for a meal having previously been on my own On both occasions the food has been excellent. The service is not rushed but by no means slow and the quality is excellent. There is a good range on the menu and we will be coming back for sure.

Thank Tim H
