Been to a few B&Bs in the area and the Rock is one of our favourite's so we've been going back a fair few times. Location: Great, places to walk nearby (Symond's Yat) and good base to explore from. Actual location is view pretty with great views of the valley and forest. Rooms: Modern, clean, warm and comfortable and cozy....

We stayed here for 5 nights after reading their great reviews and we weren't disappointed. Chris & Lindy are a lovely couple and they make you feel really welcome. They know everything about the area and are always there to give advice and recommend places to visit. The B&B is in a beautiful area and we had lovely views of...

Lovely place to stay. Stunning views from valley-facing rooms. Chris and Lindy the hosts are very welcoming and are on hand to offer tips and home-made maps for exploring the area. Our room had a fridge, microwave and sink which gave us more options. Only small thing is we would have preferred to have a menu on the breakfast table...

We stayed in a forest view room that was equipped and furnished to a high level with good wifi connection. Lindy and Chris were the perfect proprietors. Very helpful, friendly and every morning checked if we had found something to do. Chris had made several handouts of walks and tours of the area and we did the Symonds Yat walk and the tour by car around the area which were very enjoyable. We had room 3 Hereford which was spacious,...

This was a family visit - our children's families were camping nearby while we grandparents enjoyed a really super room, everything we needed (even a daily supply of milk left in our fridge!). A comfortable room with lovely views, easy car parking, lots of local walks ... useful maps and info available. Breakfasts were scrumptious, nothing was too much trouble...

We stayed in a Forest View room. It was spotlessly clean, not massive but it had all we needed. Chris and Lindy were so helpful with maps and info on local area. Breakfast was great, including the vegetarian option. A lovely garden with fabulous views, and seating areas. Just step across the path to the forest and wonderful walks. We...
