Superb location with stunning views. Mine host Daphne and Phil made my wife, myself and my son and his fiance most welcome. Rooms were spotless and beds very comfortable.Breakfast was to die for, Daphne phoned out each day ( we stayed 3 nights)to book us a table at a couple of local inns. On arrival we met the owner of the B&B Daphne who was very welcoming and friendly. She booked us in at a lovely local pub for dinner! We were showed to our room with an en suite (Buttercup) which was very clean and cosy. Comfortable beds and working TV with working channels. The room also provided a kettle with a... More

Dryslade Farm is in a beautiful location, and a convenient base for lovely walks in and around the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley. The owners, Daphne and Phil, are both very friendly and welcoming. On arrival, we were greeted by Daphne and, after being shown our room, we were immediately offered refreshments in the guest lounge. Tea, coffee and... More

We arrived fairly late on Friday evening to a warm and friendly welcome. The B and B is dog friendly and we were able to keep our Springer spaniel with us in our room for the weekend. The room was comfortable and clean and the whole place was warm on a chilly weekend. The owners were available for assistance as... More

Me and my wife stayed here on the week end and we couldn't fault it. Nice friendly owners and very nice freshly cooked food on offer. Great views whilst having breakfast and a nice log fire in the living room. Highly recommended 10/10. Thank u.

We stayed for one night, Daphne & Phil are very welcoming. Daphne made us a very welcome cup of tea with some lovely cake on our arrival. Even booked our evening meal for us at the local pub as I couldn't get a signal. Lovely breakfast with beautiful views over the valley and countryside, from a light and airy conservatory.

We have stayed with Daphne before but have never really appreciated just how well looked after we are until we stayed with other B and B's this past week. There is truly no where as good as Dryslade Farm. Daphne thinks of everything. Faultless.

My first return to the Forest of Dean, since childhood, and I couldn't have chosen a more beautiful place than Dryslade Farm. The warm welcome from Daphne and Phil, the beautiful room, the peaceful location with fantastic views over unspoilt countryside and the delicious breakfast, served in a delightful conservatory, all added up to be the best end to our... We picked this farm on spec from the website ~ we had not read any reviews but wanted a working farm. The whole visit was a complete delight. Was staying here the night before my wedding. In total myself and other guests had taken 5 rooms and we were not disappointed. The best B&B in the country hands down. The room was huge looking out over the pygmy goats on the farm. Shower hot and the whole family on one place. Brilliant. Sat in the conservatory having an... More
